John Lennon, Robin Williams, and Bourdain. My adult kids grew up watching Bourdain with me, so we've all mourned, Bourdain.

I feel the same way. Anthony Bourdain helped me see the world from my tiny little dusty south Texas town. I traveled to Japan the year he passed and now plan to travel every year.

3.5 years and still hurts

A forever hurt. We were lucky to have Tony during our lifetime. An exceptional, talented, creative genius. Best thing CNN ever did. I learned so much about the world from Anthony Bourdain. He was a master and I miss him. Just wish I could have held his hand. ❤

They were sort of brothers even into Parts Unknown. I wish instead of killing himself he'd just called and joined the broken toys out here in the desert. This tune will kill you in a good way.

That hurt. Very well done, but that hurt.

Tony was a tortured soul. Saw it his eyes. My son is cut from the same cloth. Past is past but it never leaves them alone. Heroin! It cuts deep and affects those for EVER! Although he tried with great results. Vibes of strength and power of wisdom to his wife and daughter. Prayers if you do so.

First time I've ever shed tears and gotten chills over a QOTSA song. Hopefully Anthony Bourdain's tortured soul is now resting in peace.

His soul wasn't tortured SMH, he suffered from depression which only got worse after his divorce.

Next to Robin Williams, his death was one that really hurt. I'll never forget. It was the day after my 31st birthday. For the longest time, I had a hard time accepting it. I couldn't watch his (latest) show for nearly a year because of it. While he wasn't perfect, one couldn't help but admire him in some way. Although you're gone, you're surely not forgotten. RIP, Tony.

If you close your eyes at the very end when he says goodbye those last two times you feel the shiver go right up the back of your brain.

I'm weeping as if I ever knew him. I will never assume I was as close as he and as Josh or as he as anyone else that he connected with but I felt like he connected with any human that meant anything their worth in realizing they realized they reailzed they needed to reach out to the rest of the world. Bourdain was the best at that.

That hurt. Thankfully. Rest well, Tony, we'll meet again I'm sure.

Tony was a great man. I miss him everyday.

Understandably... I can feel Josh having images of his close friend making his exit. This hurts. Us fans of both men engaged in a collective consciousness. Extreamly draining for the empathic

Another good tribute to Tony is on Best Ever Food Review Show where Sonny visits all the places in Vietnam that Tony adored. The people there still hold him in their hearts and can’t say enough good things about him.

all the new information about asia argento coming out proves that something was a little off. can't believe she took him from us. love this track & a fitting tribute for a great man.

First episode of Anthony's tv show i watched him interview josh homme. I remember when watching them, they were both interesting souls.

An amazing chef and an amazing band.

Gut wrenching.

I think of the 07 holiday special with Anthony Bourdain with the ugly sweaters, or the episode where Anthony drove that sweet ass Tbird to the desert to meet them.

One of the best versions I've heard in a while. Good reason for it I guess... Would've been appropriate if they played Into The Hollow I think. Feels to me like such a song connected to depression and such... Wanting to disappear into the hollow.

someone needs to edit a clip with bits and pieces of tony's shows over this song? The part at 4 minutes where josh says "i close my eyes i just can't sleep" should have a clip of tony peaking around the corner of some street (similar to how he peaks over the side of the train for the opening credits for Parts Unknown) the line "where have you gone again my sweet?" should either feature his back facing the camera, with him walking into the distance, out of focus, or not have him there at all with the same corner still there

CCDaDon15 it wasn’t part of the set at first. They’d only found out mere hours before it that Anthony had passed so chances are they didn’t rehearse it
