Honestly one of the most heartfelt records I've heard in a long time. It really does feel just as much art; you can hear the care in the music, and how important it was for him to make this record and bring himself back to a better place. No fictional, impersonal lyrics, just blunt and raw emotion. I've had my own personal issues like this a few years back and learned a lot myself of acceptance and everything else he talks about. It was real weird watching some of his interviews and listening to him describe exactly what I went through. Album stands killer alone without the backstory, but when I heard it, gave me a whole other level of respect - inspirational af! 🙌
I'm so happy you are going to be with us Josh! This journey through life has been made only sweeter with you and QOTSA's music.
Masterpiece.. This song comes from the heart. It has pain, concerns and a glorious lift in end. For me, this song its all about life and choices. Whatever you choose to be, whatever you are, in the end, you will die like any animal. Sometimes choices will never be the correct ones or something unexpected happens in your life but you know what?!.. Just smile... Finish with a positive note like our Josh Hommie and all the Band, great respect. Be happy and be grateful.

Along with the cancer diagnosis and my own dad battling with cancer for the past two years, this song really, reeaally hits super close to home.
