Bloody hell, about a year older than I was at the time. At least he went out after ...Like Clockwork... so heard some of the more modern era & line-up, rather than during the big gap back to Era Vulgaris. We all go at some point, sooner or later. Nothing, nothing Nothing inside And there's no reason to cry Just fade away like love Clutching, hanging By a nail in this life Desperate always, always looks that way Free fall from the nest Then glide to the left A shine catch the eye So flow on to the right Flying high, realize There are no more mountains to climb And there's nothing l can do Accept, enjoy the view When there's nothing l can do I smile Minutes, seconds So little time Give your secrets away? Well, whisper in my ear Every living thing will die From the King of the Jungle to butterfly Only sin is waiting too long When there's nothing I can do I smile I smile Free fall from the nest Then glide to the left A shine catch the eye So float to the right Flying high, realize There are no more mountains to climb We live, we die We fail, we rise I'm a vulture so I hear goodbyes There's no end to life On and on, always life On and on, always life

Honestly one of the most heartfelt records I've heard in a long time. It really does feel just as much art; you can hear the care in the music, and how important it was for him to make this record and bring himself back to a better place. No fictional, impersonal lyrics, just blunt and raw emotion. I've had my own personal issues like this a few years back and learned a lot myself of acceptance and everything else he talks about. It was real weird watching some of his interviews and listening to him describe exactly what I went through. Album stands killer alone without the backstory, but when I heard it, gave me a whole other level of respect - inspirational af! 🙌

Masterpiece.. This song comes from the heart. It has pain, concerns and a glorious lift in end. For me, this song its all about life and choices. Whatever you choose to be, whatever you are, in the end, you will die like any animal. Sometimes choices will never be the correct ones or something unexpected happens in your life but you know what?!.. Just smile... Finish with a positive note like our Josh Hommie and all the Band, great respect. Be happy and be grateful.

And everything is happening in the time when i just have ended my 2 and half relationship and only feel right know that the only thing left to me is to enjoy the view when there's nothing more i can do. Thanks QOSTA, i feel like this song is in the fight with me, in the fight of keep standing against the ones who can speaks for themselves (animals) while my heart is completely broken, for this music i keep trying to live.

Along with the cancer diagnosis and my own dad battling with cancer for the past two years, this song really, reeaally hits super close to home. That final swell and verse get me choked up every time. You really get this feeling of being beaten down, being lost and then finding the power to get back up after what feels like something you wouldn't come back from. This entire albums listens like a hard fought battle with a victorious, almost transcendental resolution with Carnavoyeur and Made to Parade. Fucking love this band, man.
