They don't do anything; but make a mess and leave it. She allows this behavior and there are absolutely no consequences. In fact, it's rewarded. Supposedly they have assigned chores and must do their own laundry. By the videos, show the opposite. Smh I seriously, doubt they clean up their rooms, either. Shyvonne haven't taken the time to teach and trained them to clean up. Many mom's work full time. So, that's no excuse. However, for decades working mothers taught their kids how to clean up; especially their daughters. It's a disservice to the kids and the spouse. Just saying,...

I was a divorce and single mom like yourself. I work, clean and did all a mom could do. Gurl, if you don't get them kids to help and teach them responsibility. (I am not saying you aren't) I know you don't show us everything but gurl ain't no way you can do it all the time. No time for yourself you gonna be burnt out. Self care is so important and we care about you. No one is trying to be mean or tell you want to do. But, didn't you have to help your momma? Well, make them help more. All that stuff they get from you being a great mom it isn't enough explaining you could do. I tried to make up for the divorce by buying things. Trust me you can't buy your kids or fill the void of their dad. My kids came to me when they was grown and still mention stuff I didn't do that they thought I should have done. Boy, Bye after they told me, I checked them back. IJS. Make them help. This will help them keep there spaces clean as well when they get one. Much love sis. Keep on motivating us we love you.

Hey Shyvonne I thought "they" were going to help you with your room! 😉😘 If your kids "assisted/helped you," you could still do the deep cleaning that you do and enjoy. My sister and I were responsible for setting the dinner table, cleaning the kitchen after dinner every night, taking the trash out and keeping our room and bathroom clean. It taught us the responsibility of being a family unit. There were consequences fir not doing our chores, no allowance and/or outside activities, ie, trips to the mall or movies.

We've been told over and over that the teenagers, do their own laundry. But, that's not what we are seeing or hearing. They were never taught or required to pick up or help clean up. You can see that by the condition of house; when the videos begin. That's, just how it is...

@@melodyspencer3868 maybe... But with all those kids, I don't know. Mom had 10 of us old kids+ a husband....we never ever had as much laundry as she does. It's all in how you raise your kids. Of course that was back in the day when kids came home from school and took off their school clothes. And, although we didn't have to, you usually wore that outfit at least 2x before it was washed. That was to make laundry easy on mom. She didn't always have a washer and dryer. Even when mom got one of those wringer washers we still took those school clothes off after school.

Wow... Ayanna is very fortunate to be having a birthday party; prom; graduation party; and getting ready to college; with all of those necessary expenses, when living in the residence hall. ...Two parties, with so much on your plate. I guess, it just sounds good. Sure, prom, graduation and college preparation is a must for her overall. With all that's absolutely needed in your home such as needing a new furnace; installing an air conditioning system; window blinds, kitchen cabinets; wall pantry; wood trim and wall painting; flooring; electrical and plumbing installations; etc. I don't understand, why you keep portraying one thing via shopping trips and holiday excessive spending. But, the much needed home needs are repeatedly mentioned, but no work is completed. By now we all know, Ayanna is constantly breaking things, according to you. She hasn't been a big help in helping you keep the house clean and straightened. Honestly, I think the children have never been taught to be neat and clean, until they became teens and KZread became a factor. They saw that you allowed the messy home. So, what's really going on? Spending excessively on ungrateful kids, who refuse to pick up after themselves and seasonal decor month after month. While, important home improvement needs are put on the back burner and just causally mentioned. This is not the making of good decisions nor showing you in the best light. No shade...just facts and common sense. Peace and Blessings ❤🙏🏽

First Queen you are a inspiration for black women and I admire your determination to get it all done, and I truly don't want to hurt your feelings, but I have 3 adult children and I worked full time and was a single mom on top of I inherited a large house that always needed something done and it took me a while to get everything done, but my children were taught that this is our house not just mine you will help me with the cleaning and laundry .I would have made not asked made each and every one of them get off the butt and helped clean that house. You go all out for them make them help you and I understand you do this for content I get it but to be honest Ayanna wouldn't be having all those parties and such when she breaks everything she put her hands on she is 18 and everything you do for her she should try to help you as much as she can. In my opinion you should have made her put on some LEGGINGS AND A TEE SHIRT no shorts a been in this video helping you ijs spare the rod spoils the child don't always mean we have to beat our children, but we must teach them

The way your house looked at the end is how it should look most of the time. I have 5 kids and my main rooms are ALWAYS company ready. The kids rooms always needed maintenance but your kids should leave each room as they found it. Now we have fun and projects and toys and forts but at the end of each day the room goes back to how it looked in the morning. When we all do it, it takes no more than a few minutes.

@@MarysgirlMarysgirl Good day yes I was raised and raised my kids the same way my kitchen was clean and the 2front rooms EVERY NIGHT no excuses and no body got allowances for doing it and they knew it no matter what they were doing they had to clean up after themselves and help the younger ones to. She buys and buys nice stuff and they don't show her any appreciation for her hard work and dedication and I know she wants them to have nice things and I wanted the same for my kids but when they don't seem like they care about anything. In my opinion she does to much putting up groceries, washing dishes, and cooking some small meals I think could be done by the older kids sometimes I see she makes all their plates what will Ayanna do in college she going to be responsible for her own self. I would be ashamed if my house looked that way at any time she said it took her 2 or3 days to get it done wow that's crazy. I love her character and I enjoy watching her but she has to much going on that it takes her 2 days just to get that kitchen together She really needs to stay on them about helping her with that house

@@kimwilliams1409 I LOVE watching her too and I think she is a sweet, wonderful woman. I just hate to see her working like a dog when she has 6 capable kids there to help her. It makes me very mad bc she just had gastric bypass surgery and she NEEDS help. Then to top it off, shes going through this divorce. I wish I was her friend bc I would help her every single day. And while I was helping her I'd show her how to stop her kids from disrespecting everything she has worked so hard to do for them. I agree that those kids have waaaay too much of everything...toys, clothes, electronics and they dont know how to take proper care of all of those gifts from their wonderful mother. I would like her to do videos of her teaching each child one on one how to do things...let them see how hard the work is that this sweet lady does. Kids do not need that much...they just dont. Make a video where the kids give away 60% of their things to a mission...I want to see THAT! I love her but man it hurts to see her treated like this. Even now, my kids look for ways to help me every day...I want to see her kids doing that for her.

Quick tip to clean a microwave oven is to put a cup of water in the microwave and turn the microwave on for five minutes. the steam from the water will loosen up stuck on food. Just wipe away once done,. To deodorize put a tablespoon of white vinegar in water. You won't need to use chemicals. Saves a step of rinsing the chemicals out and scrubbing.

Am I the only one that thinks this is so wrong? Shovonne, you did not go from testing missiles at your mom’s home and started cleaning and keeping things picked up the next day. You cannot keep this up. Kids need to be responsible for their messes, in their room and around the house. Your daughter that is going to college will continue to trash her room at home and dorm room. Expecting you to come up and clean her dorm room. When my son went off to college he asked me to buy him a vacuum for his dorm room. Four years later he came home with vacuum interacted. I read that Elon Musk only allows his 5 boy 1 hour of video, computer games for one hour. After that they have to read for twice the time they spent gaming. Kids need rules to gain life lessons. You are a fantastic mom . Tell them you can’t and won’t do this one more day. This is not good for you or your health. Breaking vacuums, doors, reuniting tugs and breaking things has no no consequence. Came from a family of eight with both parents working. We never broke anything or ruined anything. Never trashed our room or living space. Fast forward. my children are college graduates, married and do not trash their home, nor do their children.

I was hoping your daughter went with the last gown she tried on. It looked gorgeous on her. I believe you mentioned it was your fav. It’s her prom so she selected what she liked. I’m sure she’s gonna have a nice time. Owning a home is very expensive. I’m doing a little at a time. My next project is renovating my kitchen & laundry room.

A lot of people put in sugar to cut the acidity in spaghetti gravy/sauce. A better natural substitute is a carrot. It will cook with the natural sugar from the carrot. Just use one. The sauce does not taste like carrots at all. Take it out before you serve. Love your channel keeps on being you 🌻

Hi Shyvonne Melanie, I love your bedroom. Things get better as kids age, go to college and your house will start to be clean and tidy as you like. As busy as you are working, juggling activities for your children and keep your enormous house clean. Child please, you are doing good. I bought my house almost 5 years ago and I believe I am just getting it the way I truly want it, so it takes time and you have shown us you get things done. I'm enjoying watching all your updates and improvements along your journey. Tfs, peace & blessings over you and your family.🥰💪🏽

Hey Shayvonne, Your home looks amazing. In my experience, when fruit is not dried fully, it holds moisture and will cause the fruit to mold, especially covered in those jars. Let your fruit stay in the strainer / colander awhile to allow the water to drain off your fruit. Dry it with paper towels or, place the fruit on paper towels to ensure it’s not holding water.

The sugar in tomato sauce is normal. The sugar helps with the canned tomatoes not to have a sour taste do to having so much citric acid for the canning process. If you cook with tomato’s that have ripen on the vine have a higher sugar content and less citric acid...

Shyvonne, the floral arrangement on the counter I think is to big for the counter. It would look better empty. The arrangement would look nice on dining room table. Less is better. Cleanup is easier with less clutter. Just my opinion.😊
