It's been much too long since I've listened to this heart-warming soul-stirring song by Queen. It's timeless and so relevant in this time of so many wars and individual struggles. Thank you for playing it and appreciating it so deeply. I agree there is no other band like Queen. They are different in the best way - my favourite band of all time. 🤩

Please listen again… and really listen to the words to this song. Even tho Freddie was beginning to have symptoms from his worsening illness - he still wrote amazing lyrics - amazing us to think about what an amazing world we COULD have - if only! Thanks for a thoughtful reaction to this AMAZING song!! (This entire album is something special - worth a listen.)

Brian May has said that this is his favorite of the songs that Freddie wrote… because even though Fred was fully aware of his terminal AIDS diagnosis at the time, the lyrics of this song are so full of hope and optimism for the future.

Even though Freddie and his band mates knew of his terminal illness diagnosis by this time, this is such an optimistic song and, I think, Freddie's very last wish for the world. They were thinking about the rest of the world and hiw much better it would be without war, violence, and poverty. This resonated then and resonates even more now. The world is a darker place without people like Freddie in it. Thanks for your reactions and comments.

A most heartfelt reaction to one of Freddie's most heartfelt Songs. Yes - Queen is Queen, and the way they do things really is so totally different to anyone else. Every track, on every album. So fabulous that you have caught a glimpse of their genius - so much, much more for you to be enthralled by!

One of the most adorable music videos ever!! Queenie mini-me’s!! Freddie is a clever, intelligent, & lovely lyricist!! Each member of Queen were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on their own merits and Freddie is no exception here in this song. While Freddie’s looking for the miracle & accepting his fate, he recognizes the miracles surrounding him day to day. It’s Beautiful ..

The idea for the song came from Freddie and bassist John Deacon, who wrote the basic chord structure for the song. All four contributed to the lyrics and musical ideas, and the song was still credited to the entire band, something they had agreed to do so during the album recording, regardless of who had been the actual writer. This is one of Queen's most complex songs. The song describes several of “God’s creations, great and small”, such as great buildings like the Taj Mahal and the Tower of Babel, all described as “miracles” in the song, yet the one miracle “we’re all waiting for” is “peace on Earth and an end to war.” The song also references such well-known figures as Captain Cook, Cain and Abel, and Jimi Hendrix.

The lyrics get me every time, with all the craziness going on in this world we sure could use a Miracle. The world was a better place with Freddie in it. 👑

The Queen boys making all the music, voices and instruments - BUT the youngsters are acting out what we hear. Yes, Queen, Freddie (soloist with backing vocals by the others), Roger (drums), Deaky (bass) and Brian (Guitar) providing what we hear. I guess folks were known to undergo open heart surgery and in a few days be up sipping tea. Miracles happen yet 'peace on earth' is a miracle yet to happen..when we can all be friends. This great music was in the past. Now it seems 'noise' prevails, noise and glitz. The bands engineers and producers were the best - giving the quality product Queen was known for..

I really, really enjoy your Queen reactions. Your almost offhand comment that they were meant to be together is spot on. Nothing like them will ever be seen again, not by a long shot. This video was a real gem, out in /87. They're probably all lawyers now.

Glad to see you back 😊 you're one of my favorite reactors. Queen have 500+ songs so you've so many delights to come. Liar live 1974 was the song that made me a fan all those years ago and my passion for the group has never diminished. So five down that rabbit hole of Queen, you're in for a great ride. Blessings from England xx

Queen has a unique and special sound. Check out You Take My Breath Away, song from 1976, written and sung only by Freddie, including the choruses and harmonies. Also check out Innuendo from their last album from 1991, a small sample of the great genius of these guys.

These kids were so talented, that Freddie jokingly wanted to send them on touring, instead of the band. 😅 The song is all about the hope, but sadly, Freddie's days were numbered.

You said ... " the way they move around on stage , tha way they mix it up ." But the words,...... that the smallest thing we see , experience, is a mirical ( I'm not from any religious doctrine) . They are singing and playing about ,.... peace on earth , an end to war . And doing it in such a capturing entertaining way , one cant help but hear ...... all the while bieing uplifted , without even realizing. ❤❤
