My college marching band plays this song every year at the district 3 competition when we play this for the high school students. I auditioned for a solo on it this past year but didn't get selected, but hopefully, I will this upcoming year.

Well played! JD is the greatest when it comes to composing catchy basslines which are not thát difficult to play but at the same time are a LOT of fun to play AND aren’t that easy to play well (timing/phrasing). You did well as always!

Sang this in choir my sophomore year. Had a solo, but there wasn't sheet music in a place where me and the other soloists could sing into the mic while looking at it. To be fair, our choir director didn't think the logistics through on that one very well because he didn't have experience with that aspect prior to that. One of my favorite songs PERIOD.
