I've always hated that green. I'm glad to know that some liked it. For me, this was by far the least impressive of all of the royal weddings. Strapless dresses are immodest in church----the older bridesmaids should have had the sheer top pieces to cover their shoulders, the way the young bridesmaids did. And Zara is a big girl---she looks like a fullback on a football team with those huge exposed shoulders. Princess Anne should have given more guidance to her future daughter-in-law, regarding appropriate attire for bridesmaids. Not a single other royal wedding has had over-exposed bridesmaids like this----really tacky.

Beautiful bride and bridesmaid's dresses. Love the mint green color. It's sad that the marriage didn't work out. 💔

You missed mine. If only Jennifer hadn't got her skirt hiked up on the side...luckily I spotted it & took a couple of long strides to catch her & unuck her... If only we hadn't looked at each other & started to giggle. And had trouble stopping... And my brother (& escort) had "before the ceremony even starts" in the When Will Yaz Start Those Giggles pool... And The Husband paid up on the bet when we got to the altar. For what it's worth, I'm reckoned Most Likely To Giggle Her Way Through Her Own Funeral. But the pool's still open on that. It's only been 38 years of marriage & we're not even close to done.

Why show just the back ..wasted time .

Zara always seems happy. Good for her. I wonder if the reason Anne is hardest working Royal is so her children don’t have to be?

If you want to see a beautiful wedding dress, look up 'Lady Sarah Chatto wedding'. She's the daughter of Princess Margaret, the Queen's sister. Absolutely gorgeous. Too bad that there was no footage inside the church though.

The bridesmaids dresses were a little bit cheap looking but a nice colour. Too much flesh being shown though. And ‘bikini marks’.

That "mermaid" style where the shoulders are bare is getting old. When a bride and/or bridesmaids picks that style, then they are showing no originality and automatically look like the thousands of other brides and bridesmaids who chose the same old stale design. Who decided that baring one's shoulders is sexy? It isn't.

Because William made Kate go to his cousin Peter's wedding while he attended his ex-girlfriend's brothers wedding in Kenya. Kate got to meet the Queen at the reception but luckily Harry was there to introduce them :)

These people know that they will have to go up a set of stairs supposedly helping along the bride and what will they do about their own hemlines? I guess you tell your designer, "Oh, let's all gfrag ourselves up the stairs looking like a herd of animals that seem to not now what to do or how to act. All that is needed is your designer working into the hemline a cord that enables you to life it a bit so that you can walk up and down the stairs despite the skirt and similar cord from the hem of the bride's dress to life it off the ground instead of appearing as being dragged by her dress--especially with all the world coming to see which blue blood is there.

As this was a wedding in a Royal Chapel long dresses had to be worn as the bridesmaids were adult. if this was a British Royal wedding as such the attendants would be children with possibly one adult... ie Pippa Middleton at her sister's wedding to Prince William. This wasnt a Royal wedding but took place in the St. Georges' Chapel, Windsor by permission of the Queen.

@@mariahoulihan9483 All long dresses could be slightly shorter at the front. To have women coping with too long dresses. bouquets, steps and a bride is too much. Often the father of the bride has to walk half sideways to avoid stepping on the dress. It just looks so awkward.

No. The there are several places - Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral, St George's chapel Windsor, Chapel Royal at Buckingham Palace, Canongate KIrk in Scotland and York Minster
