When she saw that bruise on his face last week...she realized it was her fear of him that held her back...she couldn't kill Homelander but she wasn't scared to die trying.

And her smile when she managed to make him bleed said it all... the realization that she'd underestimated herself, and he was at least a little vulnerable to her. Empowering. His rage and visible insecurity at the realization of the same probably helped.

She was the true hero out of all.

Amazing queen maeve so happy she got her happy ending she was bad ass in the finale and so underrated through out the 3 seasons wish we got to see more of her powers like we did on the finale .

​@@ang9303 The writers are doing a pretty good job at deconstructing the dirty practices used by politicians to deflect criticism and build up loyal support. Surprise surprise, these are practices used by one Donald J Trump hence why you dismiss this as 'wokeness'. If the boys was a show about politics and we lived in the boys universe your comment would read like this: 'Its a good show but the wokeness is going hard when they get a chance. you cant be the greatest TV show of all time when Homelander is living in the writers heads each episode.'

Thats why this its obvious the writers have no idea what they are doing except being pissed killary didnt win and that Joe is the biggest screw up in history. The Fact a game show host came in and did a better job than they ever could was awesome to watch over the four years and will be even better the next time around.

​@@ang9303 much of what Homelander in the boys later seasons does clearly and obviously mirror the behaviour of politicians, notably Trump in the real world. Hence the rallies where Homelander talks about the 'fake news media, fear mongering etc. Even the clothes the indoctrinated Homelander fans wear is clearly intended to mirror Trump clothing. As far as i've heard the comics kinda suck and the drawing of these real world parallels adds some much needed depth to the show. Ironically enough, you don't see or consider what is trying to be said because you embody the indoctrinated Trump supporter that the show is deconstructing. Oh and don't use 'snowflake' in an actual argument it just makes you look thick.

She may have lost her powers and an eye but atleast she made homelander bleed.

This was absolutely beautiful tribute for Queen Maeve.

Soldier Boy, Supe Butcher and Supe Hughie fought together, couldn’t make Homie bleed. Maeve single handedly did it. That too, two times… They didn’t kill her. That was a huge relief….

I really liked that they showed off her awesomeness and didn't kill her, but that power scaling was super weird lol. I honestly don't believe Maeve was on a level of being strong enough to 1v1 HL and damage him, even she said at one point she'd just most likely buy everyone a few seconds.

@@seekeroftruth9454 I still don't really buy it, because of other power scaling feats shown in the series. For example: 1. Ryan is currently a weaker version of HL, and Ryan one shot Stormfront. A supe who fought in a 1 vs 3, and SF held her own even though she got beatdown in the end. So it;s a fact that HL could've one shot SF, and by that equivalence, in turn one shot Maeve. 2. Soldier boy has taken a full team of supes (around 5 or 6 i believe) and stomped them, even if he was defeated in the end because of the most potent nerve agent that exists. HL took on SB plus 2 other "supes" and even though he ran away in the end, he still took paltry damage. And keep in mind SB is considered second in raw strength to only HL. 3. Black Noir has consistently shown to stomp other supes including Starlight and Maeve (when he incapaciated her), and HL one shot him. No way the same thing doesn't happen o Maeve. So yeah, like i said, the power scaling in the Maeve vs Homelander fight was weirdly inconsistent to the rest of the series, but i get it, since she's probably not gonna be shown again for a while or at all for that matter, they wanted to show her off in a good light.

You can’t and shouldn’t compare Stormfront with Maeve, Maeve’s much stronger and durable physically than her, when they fought briefly, Stormfront couldn’t keep up with Queen Maeve at all, 10 seconds in and SF was already in her ass from an elbow, Maeve was blocking all of her attacks effortlessly and each blow she was delivering sounded like she was cracking open her face, let alone the gushing blood that cane out of SF from each punch. Ryan also tried to blast SB but it only briefly sent him to the other room, Maeve has Homelander and SB tier durability, it was teased in season 1 when she bidy tanked an rmored truck and didn’t move an inch. SF got burnt by a horny laser from Homelander (smaller intensity) and Maeve didn’t even get scratched or red skin from an angry laser, the kind of laser HL cuts planes in half with. 2. Solider boy didb’t take on the toughest supes out there, Butcher’s pretty string but he couldn’t beat the likes of Maeve, Homelander or Soldier Boy. Also, when SB fought Homelander during herogasm, he was weakened because he just blasted the whole building, it’s been confirmed that each blast weakens him, SB was around Butcher lvl after the blast during herogasm. And don’t forget to take in account that Queen Maeve is much more skilled than all lf these brawlers, they rely on their power while she comboned hers with akill and finesse skil l> muscles but she has both, giving her almost equal leverage against Homelander and performing better than SB, Butcher and Hughie combined against HL. 3. Noir is not remotely as strong or stronger than Maeve in the show, she got him in a chokehold with 1 arms for a oretty long period of time and he couldn’t remove her hand while she was searching in her pockets for the almost joy and then FORCE fed him. this ain’t the comics, Noir’s just a regular black guy super now, not Homelander’s clone. When he ambushed Maeve, Homelander was there, it wasn’t him that captured her, it was THEM who captured her and took her by surprise with a cheap shot. also, it’s obvious that Maeve has much better durability than Noir, Noir got bruisee and burns from grenades, he cut himself with a knive easly, etc while Maeve took a nuke point blank falling 40 stories after losing her powers and survived. she tanked Homelander’s heat vision effortlessly Wonder Woman style. overall the fight made sense, Queen Maeve is supposed to be the 2nd strongest supe in The 7 and The Boys’ Wonder Woman, only thing holding her back was herself!

This video is amazing, it really shows how amazing Maeve is and why she's my favorite in the show. I love her so much I really wish she would be on season 4 but at the same time I'm really glad she got her happy ending while showing the world why she deserves to be called a Hero.

Every sup is a parody except her, she's the best version of Wonder Woman.

Those last line and with Ashley parallels, goosebumps! Keep this incredible job. Absolutely love it
