Ive watched the whole tribute and this by far is the song number that felt like they are really happy, especially Roger waiting for Lisa to end the song and Deaky's smile and Brian's face lit up when the crowd sung with them on the second verse, My God. Good job Lisa. So emotional to see the guys to play happily for Freddie. Indeed, the best send off in the history.

I was there at this concert, and it only after all these years that ive realised what a really amazing performance Lisa gave. Whisper it but i actually much prefer her version to Freddies. Her duet with George Michael was just sublime.

I watched this at home countries away in front of tv, feeling envious of every person who managed to be even in the same place with such outstanding SUPERSTAR performers, such as David Bowie, Lisa Stansfield, George Michael, Annie Lennox etc. And you came to realize only much later how great Lisa Stansfield performed? Wow, better late than never.

It’s amazing to see 80k people singling along . That’s the magic of Queen and Freddie

You can hear the crowd sing every word. This is amazing.

Jeez. LS had some skills. Just love you get her genuine, friendly Rochdale accent when she speaks - then she sings and your hair gets blown off with the pipes. So talented.

My favourite performance of the day!

I also remember when it was broadcast live on Russian television (yes, in the turmolous early 90s everything was possible!). I was 9 years old and a mad Queen fanatic. I remember how this song sounded the best of all the performances to me. I even did a drawing of it🙄. It still remains my favourite, along with George Michael's Somebody to Love and their duet of These Are the Days of Our Lives. Her outfit also puzzles me to this day.

+Karen Comer I have hundreds of old video tapes and I found myself trying to replace what could not be replaced because they just do not make DVD's and stuff with the same content. Anyway there is a way to get a really good and cheap VCR. All you have to do is go to Amazon.com and order one. You can pick up a really good one for next to nothing. This way you can enjoy all the old tapes you have and your friends will die with envy because they have nothing content wise that can probably compare to what you have.

+Jay Duce I just found a man nearby who said he can make a dvd from my tapes. I played this tape so much and it is so old, I'm afraid that something could happen to it. I'm going to let him try and see how it turns out. If not as good as tape, he can can make me a new tape. Thanks

Just watched this again for the first time in nearly 30 years and she is brilliant. It had to be her too being from Coronation Street country, the inspiration for the original video. Freddie would have indeed loved it.
