I thought the beast beneath the board was Rhaenys and her dragon exploding from under the floor of the dragon pit when Aegon was crowned King to go tell Rhaenyra that her crown has been stolen by the Greens. That’s why Helena said it again with more urgency when they were looking for Aegon the day King Viserys died.

Yea Idk how someone could waste so much time and energy making a video like this and grasping at air to create hypothetical situations that could fit the prophecy when meleys decimating the dragon pit during the coronation fits the bill. It's also noteworthy that the phrase "beware the beast beneath the boards" hasn't been uttered since meleys' escape and as per narratives that get dumbed down, if it were still relevant then the writers would've made sure to shove it in a scene after the meleys escape.

I think her prophecy needs time to actually happen, it reads future. The time she mentioned aemond's eye to the time it actually happen takes months (or years, I'm not sure). The movie's timeline makes it feels quick. So the time they had supper and she said 'beware the beast beneath the board' I think she refers to rhaenys' dragon. But this time, when she mentioned another 'beast beneath the board' she might refer to the next tragedy, the blood and cheese. I think that's also the reason when she mentioned it at the supper, she said it just like a soft reminder, she might know that they'll still be fine because rhaenys won't burn them that time. She sounded frantic when she mentioned it the second time, maybe because she knows that it will be her tragedy

I think at dinner when she said it softly was to Aegon because he was in the frame when she said it the first time and was a warning to him. And then yelled it at her mother because she has been so persistent on Aegon being king and needed it to get through to her. I think the beware was because she didn’t know what was gonna happen after the roar from Meleys, and when he was panicked and then she had thought about it more because in the moment of Meleys screaming at them she was the most prepared for it. I also do think it could have to do with “beware” you’ll start a war, with “the beast beneath the boards” aka with the real Targaryens

I feel like her gift cannot be used for her own benefits, that would make her too op, but to know others future. If she known her own future she would always be a few steps ahead.

You would think so, but are the visions typically more of a curse than a gift? They usually aren’t interpreted correctly by the dreamer, like Dany’s dreams of the Iron Throne and the snow. Helaena seems special though.

I think it's Blood and Cheese If you know you know It could be referring to the dragon that busted up from the ground I know it's a nit pick I just think of boards as referring to a house or a home....It seems like she is referring to a danger that is going to rise up from inside the house...either somebody sneaking in or some sort of betrayal.

“Looking for A needle in a haystack made of needles” sounds like the easiest job I’d ever have in my life.

The actress who plays Helena said that it is in fact about Maelys beneath the boards in the dragon pit at Aegons coronation. She said she is meant to be a dreamer in the show. If you'll notice she doesn't even flinch when the Maelys comes through the boards because she already knew it would happen and that they were not going to die. It's been confirmed in an interview with the actress.

With the rats being prevalent in multiple scenes it made me think, what attracts rats? Blood and Cheese. Maybe they were signifying the death creeping on Viserys, or possibly the Targaryen family itself. The beauty of it is its open to the individual I guess

Oh I definitely believe he’s a green seer and uses the weir wood trees to spy on people and see into the past. I was fairly certain he was.. but once I saw the videos that KZreadr Joe Magician has about this theory- I’m fully convinced that he is. There’s no two ways about it. You guys should definitely check him out. I think you’ll find it extremely interesting, and very informative.

"...beyond the boards" means a part of the house, so it has to do with the rats being focused since episode 4, when Rhaenyra escaped. I never read the book buy I always thought it's the rats and Larys.

I think the rats are VERY significant imagery. One because viserys was found a week after his death with his body being feed on by rats. Blood. And what also do rats love. CHEESE. hints blood and cheese. Poetic justice 💛

What if the beast is King Jaehaerys Dragon Vermithor ? The one Daemon sings to ? And the rider Hugh Hammer ? Daemon knows where he is and the boards may be reference to under neath , not actual boards. But if Vermithor is around Kings landing still I would THINK he would know where to find him. He is the 3rd largest dragon, but now 2nd that the black dread has passed. He is almost as big as Vaeghar.

Maesters do not believe in magic. It would explain as to why the maesters who play part on writing fire and blood never saw Haelena as a dragondreamer. Everybody in her own family ignores that fact, a maesters would have no clue.

That means the directors did their job excellently. The show was supposed to make us the viewers, kind of favour the blacks. Because how can it be captivating if you are not biased. Makes the viewer glued to the Screen hoping your side will win.

Oh shit. It’s when Alicent is asking her where Aegon is that she says it (the second time). And in that moment he is beneath the boards. But I don’t see him as a beast, he doesn’t want to be king or any part of this treason. I don’t know but this is one of the better suggestions to me.

I know a lot of us saw that interview where she says the beast beneath the boards is Rhaenys and Meleys but I'm convinced that was a misdirect she was instructed to say. Like they actually told her to deceive you to keep the hype for next season. They've invited cast members who's characters were already dead to be in set just to throw off fans. no reason this isn't more of that.

Seeing the dragons die in season 2 is going to wreck me 😢 i cried in GOT when Viserion and Rhaegar died and when Vhagar killed Arrax & Lucerys HOTD 💔 the dragons dying hurts more somehow.. lucerys was a child so that sucked too.

I think it was fulfilled during the crowning in the dragon pit, when the dragon (the beast) comes from under the boards in the dragon pit

Exactly… while this show isn’t for “dummies” this vid goes so deep into this prophecy it overlooks the obvious to its detriment. Waaaay too deep. She wasn’t even a dreamer in the book and there’s no guarantee the fight he’s referring to will go exactly as the books say. All of this is just too much. Nearly every one of her prophecies are revealed within the episode or very soon after. Just common sense connections.

Prophecy is just the ability to sit quietly and observe the world. You study history then take present day happening judged against the past to divine the future. Prophecy is often spoken loosely because fate isn't certain and there is wide swaths of deviation from center due to free will of millions. I often use prophecy to see things which tends to be calming to me due to the spider web of continual cause and effect.

The beast beneath the boards is Princess Rhaenys' dragon Meleys.

After watching the first season, I think, she means "Blood and cheese" - Google helps (little Spoiler) for knowing what will happen to her children. It's awful what will happen. She doesn't care about brother Aegon, who is not really nice to her and has a special bad caracter... but she does surely care about her children.

It appears you haven't read the books, so I'll tell you that isn't correct, and you'll be in for a huge surprise later on. Perhaps something to do with secret passageways alongside some blood and cheese...possibly rats. Rhaenys scene also never happened in the books so it wouldn't be about that or something so obvious.

No, its not. the prophecy says to 'beware'. what is to beware about that, they just flew away, didnt even burn anyone. hardly an occurrence worth having a dragon dream about.

The last KING has no legs at all. Guess they had to reference that stupidity a bit. Contracts and such. Cheese is the beast.

I suppose this video came out before last episode when a full size dragon came up from beneath the boards of the Dragon Pit and threatened to kill all of the Greens at once… 🤷‍♀️
