Quatros lineup: Suzi, Patti, Nancy and drummer Nancy Rogers. "Funny Man" from Cradle- "the history" CD and vinyl, live from the Grande Ballroom of Detroit, original performances from the early bands of the Quatro sisters, on a New Year's Bill with the MC5. Featuring a haunting duet by Suzi and Nancy with mix of driving and melodic guitars...the song was written about Iggy Pop of the Stooges (boyfriend of Nan Ball, drummer). We watched a young Iggy morph into Iggy Pop as we spoke to his onstage persona and the audience response. The Quatro bands were the earliest of female rockers signed to a national label, recording, and touring from 1964 on.
