Quarantine Studio Vlog - Jewelry Design and Jewelry Making

During the lockdown / Quarantine I filmed some clips here and there every time I went to my studio. Since Monday we are finally getting back to (a new kind of) normal here in Belgium, I made a new jewelers studio vlog from all these clips.
Stay save and have a creative weekend!

Ty Ty for another studio video. Love these so much. The graceful little hands w/ the sweet pearls are so pretty! And those little shells! Such great ideas.

oh woow, I don't know where to start! 😍 Well, first of all, thank you so much for this awesome vlog, I really enjoyed watching while having morning tea and relax 😍❤ I think your designs are amazing and very clever, the hands (and now these new earrings, whaaaat, awesome!! 😀) and the fawn ring for mothers is just the cutest. And your metal corsage for the challenge, how awesome is that! I love real plants and leaves in metal, they are so organic. Can't wait to see your new collection for your new brand! Be safe sweetie and speak to you soon! xx P.S. more vlooogs please ❤

I love the new collection and can't wait to see a studio tour. I have seen people using PMC metal clay to take an impression of a leaf and then thicken that with liquid PMC and when fired as a stable metal mould that for casting.

I've never worked with Precious Metal Clay, that could be very interesting too.

I don't have anything in particular, it would be awesome to see your space in general, how you organise it and maybe you could share your favourite ways to speed up your work flow (or tomake more comfortable) ❤️

Hiya Karoline, who's been busy then? I loved the shots with your twins, there is nothing better than happy children! The new hands are called 'A-OK' in diving & the sign is used to say all is OK, thumbs up is 'go to the surface'. So even without the pearl beautiful & meaningful. I love the coursages, (?) Lapel art. A fair weight of silver there but very beautiful from nature. As are the rings shame the detail is lost & I agree better not to cheat but to somehow get the casting right. I'm sure you will, somehow! Is it the rubber that can't hold that small a detail? The seeds work well as rings & as a bangle, thank you. I admire your work as an artist in sculpting these fantastic pieces... Take care & stay safe...

Oh, I didn't think about the meaning in diving, thank you for sharing, that is super interesting! The details in the castings with natural details get lost in the first casting, so in the plaster, from wax and natural elements to silver. Once I have one that captures all the details, I'll make a rubber mold, that usually holds the details well. Thanks for your kind and encouraging words :)

@@korneliajewelry Skills like yours need nuturing & growing. Yes you are a buisness but you are also an artist, in your case a sculptress & you should be helped & allowed to grow your talent. The Bible says a labour is worthy of her hire so I have no problems helping you make a living & helping you grow. I don't have those skills, I make a few rings, chains & at the moment name necklesses. I'm no artist, I'm a spark who had to stop because of athritus & pain who now watches You Tube a lot & works in silver a little. So you go Dear Lady,... Take care & stay safe...

Such intricate work you do! I love the precision. Just a note, the fill-in music is much louder than the audio, so I'm having to adjust the loudness back and forth. I love your videos and thank you for sharing your talent!
