Q&A Moving to France and new Jewelers studio ideas

I have tried to answer most questions about our French journey. Let me know if you have more questions, I feel very excited about all our plans, so if you want to know more, let me know ;)
Once our renovation is (almost) done, and I can move into my new studio, I'll also make a video from start to end on how we renovated the over 100 year old stone barns into a metalsmith / goldsmith / jewelrymaking / artist / ... studio.
So, our new KZread Channel, all about our French Homestead
/ @lalandefrenchtheatref...
(we are going to start uploading later this year, promise!)
The earrings I was wearing in this video are one of my personal favorites, you can find them here: www.korneliajewelry.com/shop/...

Sorry for the audio...I always struggle with the audio haha... LET ME KNOW: What techniques would you like to learn in a workshop/masterclass? Who would you like as your teacher?

Its awesome what you and your husband are doing, especially for the kids and its seems to be very well planned. Having your brother across the road is perfect as its never the best to isolate from the family you love and the kiddies need thier Uncle. I hope the small student idea comes to fruition as it would be magical for some to visit the French countryside and learn at a bench, or even working jewellers to have a break and try some technique they dont normally use. Magnifique 😉👍👍 Wishing you and the family all the best, Well done!

Hi, just found your video, enjoyed your story, thank you. Are you going to investigate the original farm history of your wonderful place in France? It looks amazing, was it a pig farm? It would fascinating to know the genealogy of the families that have lived there, and the struggle they went through, over the years. I have done this in the past it is so interesting....... The stone pitching as the floor, would have taken a very long time, it was amazing.

Yes, we are currently living here (didn't have interenet for a long time haha) and we are finding out more and more about this place. Most farmsin this region have "limousin cows" or sheep these days. I think most of the farms used to have all kinds of animals. Like a homestead. We found out some buildings were already here 300 years ago. It is indeed super fascinating to find out about the history of this place!

C'est mieux ici (en France) qu'en Belgique. Juste besoin d'un peu plus de patience pour faire tous les papiers nécessaires :D
