But then when Lewis started to win every year, I was hoping for others to beat him. So this year I am a Verstappen fan. I am no fanboy that stays with one driver forever. But as I said, maybe Hamilton is one of the best drivers in history, besides having a great car. I dont know if, for example (and I am a huge fan of him) Alonso could deliver such a performance year by year with Hamiltons car.

The impressive thing is he did it on the second Q3 run, where nobody improved because of poor track conditions. If he had fresh tires on for the first Q3 run it would have been more than 0.1s

@@topneorej no denying Verstappen is special, but his teammates recently have mostly been inexperienced or struggling to adapt to the tricky RB. Bottas, meanwhile, deserves far more credit for what he does. Yes, he is not the greatest on Sunday but he is phenomenal on one lap pace. Today Max didn't get pole in the slightly faster car.

@@Dighug Feel like enough people have pointed out that RB was strong in Bahrain but hasn't been the fastest car since. That's not a driver problem, that's a "Mercedes fixed their issues very quickly like they always do" problem.

@@captaincortez4917 We'll see at the end of the season. If Yuki does as well as Kvyat did compared to Gasly, Yuki was clearly the better choice considering it's his first season and can improve a lot more in the seasons to come.

Not sure, bottas is very close to him all weekend. Compare that to leclerc or verstappen, whose teammates cant come close to them, theyre really pushing the limits.

I have never been so excited about the highlights. Couldn‘t watch Qualifying live so waited for this and I did not check Social Media on the result. That was so thrilling for me!
