Qu-Bit explorations (w/ Data Bender, Surface, Synapse & Chance)

Ойын-сауық

Let's talk about Qu-Bit.
This was my first time putting together a case where every module was from the same company, and it was interesting how naturally a personality emerged. I've been using Qu-Bit modules since I got started with modular and I generally think of them as having a lot of depth. Alternate modes, sub-menus, etc. Options. But having them all together revealed this kind of elegant approach towards managing change and progress in a patch, which I find one of the hardest things to do in modular.
ANYWAY, I'm going to stop there with my opinions because this video was in fact sponsored by Qu-Bit, because they've sent me all these modules over the course of several years. But it was not paid for, and all of the opinions / decisions are my own.

Your modular videos have been really inspiring. Thinking of modular in terms of small exploratory systems has made it both more approachable and more enjoyable. Thanks so much.

There are times I miss my modular rig. Usually when I watch your videos lol. I don't miss the hole in my wallet though. That data bender is very cool, hell the whole rig is pretty cool, but it needs a low pass filter at maybe 7.5Khz, to tame the 10k though 20k band. Otherwise it hurts, like, quite a bit. Enough that I'm not sure I'm watching the whole vid.
