Qu-Bit explorations (w/ Data Bender, Surface, Synapse & Chance)
Ойын-сауық
Let's talk about Qu-Bit.
This was my first time putting together a case where every module was from the same company, and it was interesting how naturally a personality emerged. I've been using Qu-Bit modules since I got started with modular and I generally think of them as having a lot of depth. Alternate modes, sub-menus, etc. Options. But having them all together revealed this kind of elegant approach towards managing change and progress in a patch, which I find one of the hardest things to do in modular.
ANYWAY, I'm going to stop there with my opinions because this video was in fact sponsored by Qu-Bit, because they've sent me all these modules over the course of several years. But it was not paid for, and all of the opinions / decisions are my own.

Your modular videos have been really inspiring. Thinking of modular in terms of small exploratory systems has made it both more approachable and more enjoyable. Thanks so much.
What an incredible demo! I feel like i want to out together a complete qu-bit system now
I need more of this system in particular. This was such a good video!
The sound starting at 3:29 is ridiculous. Didn’t want it to stop! Your videos are phenomenal

When the higher register melody line comes in, it literally makes me want to cry. It's beautiful, full stop.
Learning+fun watching this, with lovely Knobs text narration and thoughtful pop-out boxes.
Lots of adventure time type beat here, love it!
Thank you for a great video! Love the Qubit modules!
This is a stupendous little box. This maybe presents a valid budget alternative to the Make Noise Shared System for me. Great video!
This is so incredibly good
god i love my data bender, its in my "always goes" case, and i usually bring one other smaller case modular is so sick!
I like the patch cables, and the pretty sounds.
3:27 sounds like I am receiving a video call from a haunted but friendly computer. nice.
I have a Bloom and it’s magical. Just what I want in a generative system.
i dont really understand what is going on but i have decided to subscribe because this was very well made
Your modular music sounds like your guitar music. Lovely.
I love the idea of a one brand eurorack. It'd be crazy to hear one of just mutable instruments

I will get into modular one day.
Sindssygt fedt, og super veludført!
Lovely smallish build once again.
Nice video homie ❤️
gosh i love your videos
excellent video ( and system! )
Really inspirational ❤️🔥
it’s so warm oh my god
Nice video! I love your style. I wonder which sounds you could get out of our synths. 😎
Informative and inspiring - Now I just have to find a way to buy them all 😅
you should have fun with this system again in a new video
Lovely lovely QU-BIT modules~💡👾💥🌌🐾🤙
Would love to see more knobs eurorack videos especially with qubit, love their modules
I have no clue what the logic behind these choices are, but am intrigued by the results.
Gorgeous. I was just daydreaming like an hour ago about knobs uploading a new eurorack demo, love that synchronicity🕊 qubit is one of my favs too, visionary
Let’s go
Did you get a chance to try data bender on guitar? I'm building a guitar modular rig and I'm wondering if it would be a cool glitchy module to have for that.
Great video. Although, I really wish you had mentioned the Prism..
new vid!
today will be a good day because knobs uploaded a cool video for cool people also, where do you get these pretty wooden cases?

i priced it up roughly, just modules we are talking somewhere near 2500$ and then shipping, then a case, then power ect. Probably slightly south of 3k

There are times I miss my modular rig. Usually when I watch your videos lol. I don't miss the hole in my wallet though. That data bender is very cool, hell the whole rig is pretty cool, but it needs a low pass filter at maybe 7.5Khz, to tame the 10k though 20k band. Otherwise it hurts, like, quite a bit. Enough that I'm not sure I'm watching the whole vid.
So cold and digital - pass!
