Are you putting out a video soon about the QNAP TVS-h674tf? Was going to go for the Synology 1621+, but am tempted by the QNAP. Thoughts?

Hi, @NASCompares. I want to expand my NAS storage. Currently using 2x WD Red 4TB EFRX (5400/256mb/CMR/SATAIII/RAID 1). Looking for the relatively silent HDDs models. It is hard to select the model from the market. I want 2-3 HDD's 12-20 TB Each to replace my current setup. Merge them in RAID5 Or should I just buy additional 2-3 HDD 4TB WD RED EFRX (RAID5)? Please advise a couple of models. What models would you advise me to choose? Price/quality/reliability/noise? Without further claims from me if something goes wrong. Is 12/14/16/18/20 IronWolf Pro CMR HDDs good? Thanks.

Was nützt es, wenn man die gekauften Filme nicht umwandeln darf? Ich habe eine Menge iTunes Filme und Serien gekauft, doch durch den Kopierschutz kann Plex damit nichts anfangen!

Love your videos but £139 for only 1 hour zoom call??? 😮😮😮 That is ridiculous sorry even when you will provide setup support that is excessive. That is big fail for me and I do not believe that anyone will use that to be honest.

Guarantee you there are a lot of people who will find great value in that consultation. Maybe you have the knowledge to approach projects like this on your own but most people don’t.

@@JonPaulie still not worth £139 per hour sorry that is too much and I disagree that people will use it no chance for that price. This is my personal view on this service and there is other ways how you can learn it for free without have too much knowledge it is nice option but too expensive and not worth at all. And the question is why you will buy NAS or server without prior research if you will be able to use it or work with it 🤷 it is like buy a car which you cannot drive 🤦. The affordable price per hour will be £30-50 max £50 and even that is too much for that service as he will be just remotely explaining how to do it or assist with the setup compare it to any other services and no-one has rate of £139 per hour sorry that is wrong.

@@xprojectxproject5102 The value of your time is likely to be zero. If you are running any sort of business, you can resolve many issues and receive huge value regarding deployment that could otherwise take you hours if not days. All the prior research in the world will never equate to what will take you your first several days with your NAS and probably a lot of trial and error experience to learn. You can do all the research you want on how to drive your car but you won't be worth a pinch of 'coon shit compared to the driver with many years worth of experience on the road.

Why are you reviewing a $3000 version of a NAS that 95% of your audience cannot afford. Even if it has a 4 bay $1500 version. You did this with the TVS-h874 review.

Cause this channel is the best in the world regarding NAS and all of this, so they review everything that it makes sense, for every kind of user, don't assume this is too much for the people, for me yes, but you never know about other people who wanna buy the latest and greatest, no matter what. Plus, if people are willing to spend almost 2k or more on phonecells, would be great to invest in one of those beast tho 😉

That's just the way that bell curves are. The majority fits firmly in the middle and the are a handful of viewer and the far ends - budget and no budget. But you can't just ignore them. And, where do you draw the line ? There are all kinds of NAS reviews that few of us would buy but they are still very interesting if we want to be informed viewers.

Don’t get me wrong. I can watch a review of a Ferrari and dream. But I am not interested in the Ferrari’s trunk space for groceries. Of course a small or medium business needs something like this and afford it. But they are not using it to stream 8k Jurassic Park to their iPhone. But your average Plex streamer isn’t buying a $3000 server and filling it with $2000 in drives.

Lol, last year I purchased a TS874 core i5 just for Plex. Filled it with 12 TB drives. Yeah, spent a lot of money, but I wanted something future proof. It's a beast and it's the 'lower end'. Absolutely NO regrets.
