Love the narration by Deborah Pratt. Wish they used it more in the series.

I'm going to be so sad if they cancel Quantum Leap. I really love this show! I hope we get the end that we all deserve. Please bring Ben and Sam home in the end?

it isn't fair. why do the best shows get canceled early but the worst shows go on and on and on and on and on...

@@chiefdancingostriche Even if this series ends, Deborah Pratt has said she'd like to expand the Quantum Leap franchise much like Star Trek has. So it isn't too late for us to get closure with Sam albeit not in this series but maybe another somewhere down the line?

I think that a large part of the reason Sam circumvented what happened in MIA is because Sam says he follow the rules...except when he doesn't (when it is about himself) and despite the consequences...Al helps him anyway even when he advises against it or suffers for it. It is worth noting that Al brings this up in The Leap Home (as MIA was the previous episode) and Sam throws it in his face. In the end (Leap Home Part II) Sam gets everything he wants, breaks the rules, saves Tom (unknowingly trading his life for Al's freedom). It is also implied that the death of the photographer, Maggie, is essentially the sacrifice that is made to accommodate Sam getting what he wants. A less severe but no less important version of this plays out in Star-Crossed Sam did it because of guilt.
