Qigong is very real. I used to instruct basic Qigong for 2yrs. Watching cancer patients go through miraculous healing in mere months in concoction with chinese herbs and Acupuncture. Qigong should be taught at public schools. Teach students to be nice to each other. Qigong is said, once uve learnt a routine, it will be a treasure you will carry for the rest of your life.

This is from the documentary Mystery of Chi by Bill Moyers. At the time this was documentary was made (30 years ago?) Chi or "Qi" was relatively unheard of in the USA. For those who have studied the internal martial arts, It's well known that Qi Gong masters have these abilities.

Many people can do unbelievable things with Qi. "A Discourse on the heart sutra with Chi Kung, Part 1-4" by Lama Dondrup Dorje explains and demonstrates it against some karate instructors (not his students). Perhaps this might help to inspire someone to work hard to acquire higher level of Qi proficiency and self mastery. With proper training in Qi, there is no limit to what the mind can achieve.

The energy is real. You can send energy to other people and feel other peoples energy. It's a subtle & soft effect though. When the master says he is "here" & his thoughts are over "there" that space in-between is the "inner space". Practicing a lot of meditation will push your thoughts away to the point where you can observe them from a distance. I've never seen anything this advanced though. If it works in lucid dreams, im a believer in that this power is available in the physical world

In a lot of instances the level of force that these Masters generate is so powerful, only those that have worked with this energy for a long time have sufficient energy not to get severely injured. there was a woman named Min Oh Yang in SF whose energy work could at times be so powerful only high ranking students could be in the room, outsiders would experience severe injuries, hemorrhaging nausea, migraines etc.

i have been practicing energy work for 2 years and all i had where the videos of true masters emiting there energy and i tryed to copy there moves when they breathed when they would push and every exact body movment and only after lots of deep meditation i could heat my hands up and slowley bit by bit i could emite enough energy to manipulate very light physical objects piecies of thread had the biggest or easyist resault, psi wheels reacted with it to and it was really noticable and yes airtight room and i even wore a mask for my breath and the resault was what i was going for, the tip of the thread (thumb length) would just about be levitating it is an amazing and overwhelming sight but it takes it out of you if done right and when i got to this point i thaught of why i learned this in the firstplace i just wanted to learn what the chinese never forgot for my self and to show others but now that feels like a waist i feel like i should be helping people and learning more and only demonstrate when i want to confirm energy manipulation is REAL and probibly the most important thing you could learn before you pass, its all in your technique thats why i think i progressed to beaing able to do what i do in only 2 years pracrice, dont rush it and remember it is not possible to achive this without proper deep meditation very relaxed and deep you need to feel/then direct your energy going down your chest/stomach/dan tian medirians when you inhale and up your spine/head until it reaches your nose right as you take your next breath it should already be alligned or atleast mine was, and repeat, and i know it sounds like im saying i know everything about this but obviously im doing something right and im thinking of posting a vid because i feel i progressed fast or defanatly faster than normal from what i have resherched, and by the way most of videos i was studing where by master jieng feng, learn what i have well, and just know i was seriously debating on posting the way i took, and by the way im only 17.

The first time I heard about Chi Gong was when I watched this documentary. Years later I started learning Tai Chi. At some point our group of practicioners attended a seminar given by Kumar Frantzis (whose skill level some people find unimpressive). One of our instructors begged Mr. Frantzis several times to demonstrate his energy projection skill on him. After declining each time, he relented when the instructor asked for a life time favor, then he proceeded to touch the petitioner and made him loose control of his body and be thrown to the floor like a rag doll. This was repeated two more times but with different projection techniques. The instructor was proficient in some martial arts and had been a football player, so he knew how to take pain. Knowing him fairly well, I know there was no reason for him to plays stooge. A couple of ladies sensed Mr. Frantzis energy too, but as healing.

after doing these soft taiji-like movements for decades in the correct way with a teacher who really understands what he is teaching, the master has really mastered balance within a physical posture (or way of standing) where the master's body is perfectly aligned & thus properly rooted and weighted. His movements are so slight as to appear invisible if you dont know what to look for but they simply use the natural reflexes of his "opponents" body to effect these seemingly miraculous responses.

@tajicentre When you reached the higher level, it is always about using the mind (yi) to direct the Qi. Jin (sexual fluid) can be transmuted to become spiritual energy (shen). Meditation is of vital importance to those who wish to attain higher/ psychic abilities with activation of the chakras and meridians. You use your Yi and Qi in everything. Physical moves is necessary to build muscles. Therefore it has to be a balance of both (Yin and Yang).

I do not study martial arts anymore because I am an old man now. But when I did, I made my body hard and I could defend myself very well. Sooooo then I wanted more and at the time was studying WIng Chun. One time was a very, very, very special ocassion and there was a visiting HIGH MASTER. He was small and could not have weighed more than 130 pounds or less. He was about 5 foot 4 maybe. I saw him do amazing things with other students as a demonstration. My eyes saw it but my brain said it is fake. Five able body people could not push this man off his stance. My master did not want us to interact with him. Maybe he did not like him or maybe he thought that the Master would be bothered, but I could not let an opportunity go that I would have to prove in my own mind that what he was doing was fake or real. So when he came by me he smiled and then started to move on, I asked him point blank if he would try it on me. I think my master was pissed off that I did that in front everyone but I did. This man smiled a genuine happy smile and said okay. He told me to place both hands on his hips an try to push him off his stance. I was in top physical shape and got down in a push the out of gas car off the highway RIGHT NOW stance. It felt like I had put my hands on the corner stone of the Empire State Building and was trying to move it a couple of feet backward. I pushed so hard that my arms and back started to vibrate but I am not a quitter, so I would not give up!!!! I looked up and he was just smiling at me, no strain at all. He simply said, are you ready? I did not know what he meant but I said ready for what? He took his finger and touched it to middle inside of my arm and just moved it back and forth, almost like he were tickling someone. BUT IT DIDN'T TICKLE!!! First it felt like a very long pin coming out my elbow, and the more he wiggled his finger the more it felt like a very large knife screaming pain through my arm. I was stupid and I would not give up and knew this. Then he looked a little sad at me because he knew I would not give up and said, Are you ready? The next thing I felt was an invisible hammer the size of a 55 gallon barrel hit my arm from my fingers to my shoulder and I was laying on the floor. He told me he was sorry for releasing the energy, because sometime it cannot be controlled, but he knew that I would not give up. I had a black and purple bruise from the top of my muscle to almost 3 inches short of my wrist. It was at lest 2 months before it was gone. All that from his finger tip????? Yes, stupid doubting Thomas me did not believe anyone could do that and I had to find out. Soooooooo, yes there are fakes, and I spent a lot of time seeing and paying money to find out fakes. This man was the real thing. I found out the hard way. NOW do not believe me, find out the hard way!!!!!!

But with all this I'm looking for more, I can't find what I'm looking for. But society tends to hold me back like financial up keep, financial status, and all these things. I'm interested in this, I'd like to study this for myself but with how things are, how can I continue to get that feeling of completeness without sacrificing my futur or my familly too come ?

I personally practice Qigong and it works. I am not at the level where I can manipulate people with my energy, but a master can. I, personally, can feel the Qi in the air with my hands as a palpable, magnetic force. I have also benefited from refloxology, which works on the same basis as acupuncture. I know 2 Reiki healers, and I have felt their energy. The problem with people who doubt that these things work, is that the doubt, itself, is a bar to experiencing their power.

@DaBizness13 It is widely accepted by those who practice qigong that Qi is a type on energy. Well, the fact of the matter is that ALL energies are detectable in some way. We don't need equipment to measure the energy its self - we just need to be able to measure the task that the energy performs to determine if it exists or not. This is the same way we know about dark matter and dark energy. We don't know what it is, but we know it exists because of it's effect on other things.

Because it’s a little trick, like hypnotism or or sleight of hand. Notice how the master only does his performance with people already in on the truck. Some people are going to argue that he didn’t test it on the interviewer because he “didn’t want to hurt them,” but that would mean this “master” can’t even control his own energy properly.

You then feel electrified, at which poi t depending on your level of experience can manipulate magnetic particles. It's not mind control, it's not what some might portray as telekinesis or what have you, it all revolves around our magnetic field. Stop using fluoride too, btw as it cam hinder the amount of time you are energized in such ways.

@Ragleif I've explained this already time and time again. Energy is defined as "measurable work capability" - it is the potential of something to perform an action: heating, moving etc. Therefore we could determine the existence of Qi energy scientifically by verifying whether it performs the tasks that it is said to perform, without actually having to qualify what the energy is. If it is not performing the tasks of already established energies, but is still doing stuff, then it's a new energy.

As someone that has practiced and taught various martial arts in depth for 30 years, you have to appreciate how deep many humans have a need to believe nonsense and how powerful the group think is that lead into delusions like this. It's silly, but we as humans are very good at fooling ourselves. Yes softness can a powerful tool, and internal arts are useful, but self-awareness is key to not losing objectivity. The student is conning himself at the end unfortunately.

The old man's not stopping the throw with "chi", he's just widening his stance, keeping his back straight, and lowering his center of gravity. Anybody can do this. It's physics. Also the young guy doesn't know how to really hip throw somebody. You have to knock your opponents hips back and enter into the space as you throw him.

Oddly enough, although you and I take it for granted, a lot of mainstream science doesn't admit the notion of an all-pervading "force." A few guys like Dr. Kaku are brave enough to challenge "conventional wisdom." It takes science a while to catch up to what "mystics" have known for thousands of years.

  • @Solefear

Seth Tyrssen science doesn't catch up to anything. Its to do with truth. And a lot of hard study beyond most of us can understand which is 'miracle' in itself. There is, something in 'Chi', however. Sometimes there's elements of substance about in the midst of the crowds. What exactly, is a 'mystic' then and what do they claim to know? Mystics are fake. Dr Kaku is great!

There are many masters, grand masters and practitioners of many different kinds of qigong. I’ve been studying (virtually) approximately 7 months with Master Mingtong Gu who teaches Wisdom Healing Qigong at The Chi Center near Santa Fe, New Mexico. (I live in CA.) In the 1980s I had the privilege of working for 2 days with a Japanese Qigong (martial arts) Master; the first day during a calligraphy lesson, he walked around the room behind us as we were drawing and gently placed his hands on each of our backs and a giant wave of chi rushed through each of us. It’s extremely difficult to describe - kind of a whoosh of air (but not air) passed through my body and beyond. It was an amazing, remarkable, unforgettable, pleasant experience. Type “Qigong’ or “Mingtong Gu” in the KZread search box and begin your journey. BTW, Wisdom Healing Qigong is at least 5,000 years old but has just recently been revealed to “ordinary” people starting in China around 1970 or 80. In 2003, the Chinese government shut down (for unexplained reasons) Grand Master Peng Ming’s medicine-less Wisdom Healing Clinic; Master Mingtong studied with Grand Master Peng for several years in China and decided to do whatever he could to continue and bring to the U.S. and as much of world as possible Grand Master Peng’s Wisdom Healing Qigong and he is succeeding quietly, gently, and profoundly. 🥰

It is not about dismissing rational explanations. It is about making your mind up for yourself. Only you can determine what you choose to believe. If you are going to believe everything just because a scientist said so then you are a fool.

Chi isn't science anyways, it can't be explained by science how to harness it, because science doesn't actually explain everything, it attempts to explain everything in a way we would understand and be able to perceive, but oddly enough, science is more wrong then right. And though their current instruments may be testing this or that to turn out like this, in 20-30 years when much more advanced technology comes out, we will probably hear completely different theories about most things we know. Science is also a religion if you weren't aware. Sure you have facts and evidence, but only if one puts the faith in the machine and technology these humans are using as their conditions of testing. One value wrong in the programming of the tech, and whatever info you're given will automatically be wrong to the one you were going to get had the programming value not been an offset. Yes, I'm a programmer and know my shit about software development for hardware use. I can quite guarantee in 50 years, over 75% of what you believe is factually correct within science, will be corrected in the future due to Advanced Intelligence doing it for us from the perception in which doesn't have a blanket thrown over it, like us humans do. Believe it or not, but if you don't then the 30% of Americans you think believe in alien abductions and shit, are actually just 30% of the brain-dead american populous with a mind incapable or understanding, containing and rationalizing logic of this stature. Aliens do exist, in whatever form they exist in, nobody knows, but anybody with an average or above IQ and the ability to think logically, knows that it's statistically impossible for there not to be. Even your 'science' has started admitting this, because the smarter ones of us would have began to ridicule science if they weren't able to also logically see this and work it out. Took them long enough honestly, did they do it out of fear that people wouldn't take them seriously anymore? Or did the government decide to allow them to release certain information on what they are already aware of and are keeping from the populous. Science is the government, the government is full of lies and deceit, the government wants you to believe and see things the way it needs you to, in order for it's plans to be a success, I say this one more time, Science is the Government. Use your fucking logic if you have any, and see the world for what it is. A largely misunderstood world and dimension we live in, that science leads us to believe we are restricted within, by universal laws and general impossibilities. The limitations of yourself due to what you've learned to believe have built pathways from your conscious mind, to your subconscious and have made that a reality for you. The power of belief, the power of building pathways and convincing your mind these things are possible, well it being a super-computer already knows how to do it, all you need to do is learn how to input commands to the super-computer (from your conscious mind to your sub-conscious mind). It's not easy, but it's VERY real and attainable though correct mind and body training. I could go on for decades, learning from in my opinion, Yip-Mans best student, opens your eyes to a whole fucking load of things that once were supposed to be impossible. I'll leave it at that. KZread Chu Shong Tin demonstrations or something if you wish to watch some stuff on him. Good day.

I know Qi exists because it has alleviated my depression, anxiety and general body aches. I have taken classes in the YiRen style developed by Dr. Guan-Cheng Sun. This style concentrates more on the cultivation of Qi "energy" and the healing aspects of Qi. I can assure this is not the result of mere suggestion. I cannot argue with anyone until they have taken the classes that I have taken. If you took a YiRenstyle Gigong class and did not feel the the sensation of Qi energy, then we can discuss.
