There's a comedian that describes a little girl's birthday party that had a princess piñata & a whole bunch of sweet little girls crowded around the fallen effigy & beat the daylights out of it. I want to say it was columnist Dave Barry, but I'm not certain.

I’m glad that Sandi immediately refused to go along with the "joke" of lying to a blind man and mocking him by nonverbally giving the opposite answer so that only sighted people would know it was a lie. It wasn’t funny and it gets even more unfunny when you think about the context. A blind person was told to compete against a sighted person in a task where having vision gives you a distinct advantage, then he asked if there’s a separate record for how fast a blind person can do it and the adjudicator gave him a serious-sounding answer about how that record might be added as long as the previous winner wasn't blind, but actually was making fun of him by nonverbally telling almost everyone else, “I'm lying but he doesn't know that because he can't see me hehehe. There's no chance we'd put a record like that in our book that includes records for almost anything else you can imagine, such as most nails hammered with a head in one minute and largest collection of transformers merch.”

It's not a surprise. By now it's well-known that the Guiness Book is a massive scam. Essentially, you can pay your way into the book (which is what QI even did here) which is often used by fascist regimes for propaganda purposes. And the Guiness Book will gladly be bribed to whitewash any dictator. So yeah, you can expect them to be complete arseholes.

What's the record for the most number of ridiculous records contained in a book? It has to be however many are contained in the Guinness World Records book.

lol man holly was REALLY keen. i think it screwed her up a bit at the end trying to force herself into a few of them and getting stuck. lolol
