    The answer in the episode was a single mushroom that was thought to be many mushrooms but was actually one mushroom connected under the soil. It covers 2,200 acres. Probably 8,000 years old.

    good montage, tho i'd rather minimize the use of transitions from one footage to another

    I'm glad you liked it! About shortening transitions: Since this is a new channel, I want to see how many people react to it and go with the consensus. The thought was that though some people may not need it, others need context and it helps them understand better a montage that is about many, many diverse things. I'll wait a bit to see what others say to decide.
