@@3132c I understand that. I'm just evaluating the skill set. His arm is strong like Carson's was but his intangibles are like Taylor's were. If you could put Carson and Taylor into one player it looks to be Sam. We saw him against ones last year against Dallas and he wasn't bad, with a week of prep. That's what I mean by he looks different. We get what the other 2 QBs had in one guy.

I remember when Joe Theisman finally got the starting job as Billy Kilmer was retiring, and Sam Howell getting the starting QB job for Washington will prove to be just as historic and significant.

Seeing him play all through high school at Sun Valley, this man is an absolute monster. He excelled in football, and baseball, but football was his sport. I can’t wait to see what he does now professionally.

Rio! Watchu doing here?! Lol That play @ 3:38 was the best. Period. Seeing it live was crazy. I’ve said it, time and time again. I’ve been on the Sam Howell train, since his 2020 season, when Dyami Brown was his go-to WR at UNC. I still can’t believe they held it against him in his 2021 season after losing some major weapons. Plus, he ran more. He lasted, until the 5th round. I still, cannot believe that. Not to mention, got him, Jahan Dotson, Brian Robinson and Cole Turner in the Chris Olave trade.

After 25 years, it's nice to have legit hope again.

Bounce back mentality is how to succeed in the NFL,and Howell has shown it in these preseason games.

I can't wait to see Brian Robinson run more this year! Surviving an assault with a gun and back for his 2nd season! Incredible!

This is the same Sam I saw last year against the cowboys except the cowboys had something to play and still performed well against their defense

He played against a lot of their 2s; and so did Johnson. The point is executing the offense, in a live-fire setting. He’s young, so he was going to play. And, if he’s just a 5th round pick, and people don’t really know or respect him, yet, any time he gets to show what he can do, only helps him. You don’t see guys who are legit, play a preseason game, stink it up, and you think, “he’s gonna be a star.”
