QATAR AIRPORT CAPSULE HOTEL (Sleeping in the Doha airport Slip 'n Fly)

We stayed at Doha Airport Capsule Hotel Slip'n Fly Sleep Lounge and it was a very interesting experience. A bit pricy though, but you can book it online and it's very convenient for long overnight transfers in Doha airport. Worth it? Let's check

Thanks for sharing. you saved me in this trip. I asked a few airport staff about hits sleeping pod but everyone gave me a different address or maybe I was confused. anyways since I already knew that there is such a nice facility exist(Because of your video ofcourse), didn't give up searching until I found them and luckily they had only one spot available. I booked it for 7 hours for $95.84 and slipped 6.5 hours straight. I was there on AUG 15th 2022 Very nice and friendly staff clean and supper quiet pod with great temperature.

@@nhatluutranminh4509 they accept walk-ins without prior reservations, but Doha airport gets very busy at night, so you might want to book it in advance. Depending on how many hours you need, it might be a good idea to use Al Mourjan Business Lounge. It has showers, lots of food and drinks included and several areas to sleep. It's free for Qatar Airlines Business and First Class passengers...or if you are flying economy with Qatar airlines, you may purchase lounge access for smth like 450 QAR (approximately $125). You can watch our full review of this lounge here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gZV-1MWPiNLZmrw.html Enjoy your trip :)

Our flight with Qatar airlines has just been changed by them and we now have a 20 hour transit. We queried it with them and they gave us three choices: take another flight out of Doha which adds another leg, get a refund or just stay as you are. So basically get lost. We are old and booked specifically with a short transit. The hotel there is Euros 350. We have been in Europe for 5 months now and we’d like to go home. Thank you very much for this video.

So sorry about your experience! Did they offer you a lounge pass at least? We spent our super long transit in their Al Mourjan Business Lounge, and frankly speaking we never even noticed as 23 hours passed :) They even had family rooms to sleep and rest. If you have access to Al Mourjan Lounge with Qatar airlines- I’d recommend that one. They have a couple restaurants showers and sleep pods, they will even give you blankets if you ask. We made a full review here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gZV-1MWPiNLZmrw.html Otherwise, there is a smaller lounge but it’s very crowded and doesn’t have that much comfort, they also limit the time you can spend there. There is also a hotel inside transit zone if you prefer to sleep at least 6 hours. This capsule hotel is only good for short transit for 2 hours nap. It has no bathroom or food onsite. Hope this helps! Enjoy your flight! 😃

This is a very long layover, and these pods have no showers or food offerings. These pods are only good for 2-4 hours max. Otherwise, I’d recommend a hotel inside the terminal or one of the Qatar airlines lounges. Wr made a video of Al Mourjan lounge. You can access it for free with Business class ticket or Emerald oneworld status, or simply buy access (it’s so much worth it! - free food and premium drinks with several restaurants inside, places to rest, work, lockers). Check our review here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gZV-1MWPiNLZmrw.htmlsi=gK31Ltgak_Sdt08G Hope this helps!

  • @CheckerTravel

nope, not included. You have to pay for it in and even preferably book in advance as it gets busy at night. But if you are flying Qatar airlines business class or first class - you may use Qatar airlines business lounges for free. Also, if you have a Priority pass (that comes with many US and CA credit cards) - you’ll have one small free lounge option, but it was super-crowded, we never made it to check it out.

Prices tend to change, so we do share the current price in the video, but they always depend on your specific dates and time of the year. It doesn’t make sense for most people in transit to leave the airport. First, some tourists need a Visa to leave the transit area. Second, you need to go through security and passport control again which takes a lot of time. Most transit connections at Doha are only 4-12 hours, you are better off staying at the airport lounge or such capsule hotel to have a nap for a few hours. Yes, it’s more expensive compared to what the city has to offer. But coffee and water in the airports are more expensive too. It’s just how airports work.

@@CheckerTravelI still wouldn’t do it, as personally I can live without sleep but I can’t live without a shower. But the shower costs nearly same price as hotel room. So answer, if u have time or don’t need visa it’s cheaper to stay overnight at hotel and catch a plane next day. That’s what I did in Dubai n glad I did. You’re talking to an Aussie who flies the longest distance.
