That was a great project swap! I have a love/hate relationship with colorwork. And fingering weight tops. 😂 Saddle shoulder construction looks interesting - looking forward to seeing that top grow. Great job with your sock knitting, too! 🙌

I have had a similar-ish idea rolling around in my head for a while where you and a friend each knit a shawl and swap it and then it’s like getting a hug from them every time you wear it. Can’t believe how much progress you made on your skyline in just a day! The saddle shoulder construction can be quite addictive to work on. I also want to make the book club cardigan soon. It looks like such a fun knit

@Goodknits_ yeah I was on a mission with the skyline tee 😅. I just finished it a couple days ago. It only took me 2.5 weeks 🤯. AND I'm casting on the book club cardigan today!

Kendra, your work is simply lovely. I am impressed by the fabric of your socks as I am a loose knitter and have to work at getting my fabric that tight. The swap experiment was genius! I don´t like colorwork either, but I am trying to do a little every now and then on smaller projects so I can at least consider doing it in certain (bigger) projects. The Skyline Tee is off to a great start. It´s my plan to knit a couple of tees this summer, but I have a lot of gift knitting to do, and it might not happen. (But I am reckless - as you indicated you might be too 😃 - and might very well cast on a tee or two!) Hope you have a great time in Jamaica!
