I'm looking into this quick release as I have a bunch of diy wheels and the D-spec quick releases tend to go for a lot more. I'm surprised you don't really hear much about this quick release.
I'd really like to see an update in a year or so!
If I wanted to attach this to my VRS (Small Mige) I’m guessing I’d still need something like the SRC Adapter for the motor-shaft right?

I was thinking the same but it took so long to get my shifter from China to the ul I don’t know if I could deal with the weight. The shifter though is fantastic compared to my clubsport though
Have you seen the Kapral lasercutting service for the q1r? Seems an even better deal and likely better quality/tolerances

Woah I just checked out the Kapral site and q1r looks good and is so cheap. Do you own one or do you know someone who has reviewed this QR?
Update on how they are holding up under normal use? Have they developed play in the tolerances?

The wheelbase is a Leo Bodnar Sim Steering 2.
How well does q1r compare to the SRC QR?
Nice! Can you tell how thick is the plate where the bolts going in? And a total length of both parts connected? Thanks in advance

Nice video! I think the weakness of the material makes it not suitble for "high-end" force while even the original Q1R could not survive under 38nm motor. But for majority it is a affordable choice.
