I recently purchased a pair of these in Arctic white and I have to say they are stunning! We sound tested these at the time against another pair of well known floor standers that were nearly twice the price and the Q's won our vote by a long way. They are fantastic!

Writing this quite a bit later in 2024, but I just bought some of these second hand and I'm so glad I did, they are beautiful both in sound and looks. I see even now they are still available 4 years later so if anyone sees this and worries that they are superseded, don't let that dissuade you. I replaced some newer and more expensive bookshelf speakers with these. The difference is night and day, for me.

Great rewiew, this man is a genius !

After listening with a pair of Linn keilidhs for 30 years approx, I bought a pair of 3050i what a huge improvement. Decay of cymbals, reverb , transparent and detailed harmonies; I'm hearing sounds I've never heard before (even with my 62 years old ears and deafness above 8k Hz) . I'm stunned how good these sound for the money. Well done Q acoustics; I wonder what the Concept 50s and 500s sound like?

Outstanding speakers for the price!

Hello, sorry, I had two questions.. What is the distance behind the speaker to the wall to get the best sound? And also how far should be the distance between two speakers to give a good sound? Thank

I needed extra supports as well, so I contacted their customer support. Just give them a call or email, they were very nice.

After using B&W for 25 years (I love the yellow and black color combination) my wife and I have decided to get the Q 3050i's. We are using the B&W 684's (original) right now, but I want to try life without metal tweeters. General question: Are the 3050i's as sturdy as the 684's, which have a plate on the bottom? We have a hardwood floor - and would like them to not be wobbling :)

Hello, Whilst it is difficult for us to compare our loudspeakers to another brand's model which we have no direct experience with, what we can confirm is that the stabiliser which is at the rear of the 3050i floorstanding loudspeakers ensures the stability of the loudspeakers. There is also the possibility to purchase extra stabilisers which can be used at the front of the loudspeaker, in addition to the rear, if extra stability is required. We also provide rubber spike covers for our customers which have hard flooring, for example hardwood, to ensure that no damage is caused by the spikes. Thanks

@@QacousticsCoUk ​ I just received the Q 3050i's today. They are absolutely amazing. The sound is very detailed and punchy. I used to always put a pair of socks in the vents of speakers back in the day, but I do not need to do this with the 3050i's. They don't get that "sloppy" feel that I often associate with vented speakers.They sound very smooth, detailed and with a nice lower bass. They outperform my B&W 684's by a fair margin (both sets are from the same price class). But of course, the look and build of the 3050i's is the real showstopper. They look gorgegous.

@@szami81 Hello, the technology on 3050i model is improved with the knowledge we had from our high-end Concept 500 speakers. The bracing, Point to Point, improved to have purer sound. Structural integrity of the speaker was improved with re-designed terminal cut outs. There are more improvements that make 3050i better than the previous 3000 range. We cannot comment on the amplifier model as you may experience different sounds with different models. l can say that as a passive speaker, 3050i, will satisfy your needs and you may not need to replace them for a while. Kendeas Harris l recommend 3050is. They have purer and clean sound. Vocals are easier to understand when they are whispering at the songs or movies especially when English is your second language. In addition to the sound performance, I also prefer the look of 3050i. Klipsch was not aesthetically curvy enough for me with yellow surrounds, looked bulky and big. They did not suit my living room colour. You may want to ask your partner :-)

Has anyone paired 3050i with Marantz PM 7000N. Your thought please. Thanks

Quick question. When I unboxed my 3050i speaker today the floor spikes are different lengths. Two look like the ones on your video and two have a smaller 'bolt' for want of a better word. Is this normal or am I heading back to Richer Sounds? I presume the smaller spikes might go at the front. Some advice would be good. I'll try your web site too.

I can confirm that the 3050i has two different sizes spikes; the larger ones being for the rear stabiliser. Thread the spikes fitted with locking nuts half way into the base and return the loudspeaker to the upright position. When the speaker is the right way up, insert the Allen key into each rear spike from the top and adjust all the spikes in and out until the loudspeaker is level and stable. Thnaks.

Great value speakers, but too much reverb in the room this video was recorded in.

Can this speaker use for karaoke?

Hi Edwan Zhuang Please be aware that the 3050i speakers are passive, so in order to play audio through them, you will need some form of amplification. You would need a two channel stereo amplifier which supports a minimum of 4 Ohms, and can provide 25-100W of power. Hope it helps.

The problem with Qacoustics is their pricing. They are going up and down everyday almost like stockmarket. One can buy them at 1018€ , a week later someone else would buy them at 647€! and then 750 or 900 , at the same time maybe different stores and so goes on.. I have never seen that with any other brand.. Most they have a price that stays there for years the same.
