Doesnt matter, they spend money on stuff that’s necessary. How do you think they got their wealth? They did it by not buying useless shit and most people who become millionaires or billionaires keep the same mentality as before

Loveeee Barbara, but my own personal experience in NYC now (and a month ago when this video came out) (and for almost the entire pandemic, for that matter, except maybe in March) was the opposite: all my favorite restaurants have been open for delivery, and everyone at grocery stores have been extremely good about distancing. I'm actually shocked to hear that someone else has had such a different personal experience in the same place lol. But I guess it must be possible!

moral of the story, have subsidies every truly worked? Or do they just distort markets? Bring back free markets again. Make markets free again.

Why does Mark Cuban think he can keep saying that people on unemployment don't want to go back to work? Like he knows a single person on unemployment. I was laid off because the state shut us down. We are grateful to get the extra unemployment money because the $350 a week I was approved for would cover rent and 3 bill's. I paid into unemployment from my paychecks from the previous year! How much did your business get in bailout money. I'm sure it was more than $1200. Because that's all the rest of us got. Everybody I know wants to go back to work and for things to be normal. Our "extra" money ends after July, then we all better get back to the jobs that aren't open and Mark Cuban can sleep better at night.
