Doubt it Cartoon network wrote it off for a refund. they legally can NOT make any money based on that show or air it ever.

Seriously. Huge applause to Genndy Tartakovsky. This new episode is an enormous breath of creative fresh air. simply invigorating. I had almost forgotten what true art looks like haha

This first episode was bookoo cookoo, baby.

Jack's got a beard now because he used to shave with the sword, but since the sword is gone for now..he stopped shaving

The fact he enjoyed working with Adult Swim and wishes to launch another project with them makes me very happy.

I loved Samurai Jack since i was a kid and season 5 just awesome and now I'm in love with Ashi don't know why but i love her and maybe we see season 6 in feature because as jack traveled to the feature he stiped ageing and maybe like that ashi traveled to past and she can't die or she just faked her death and disappeared. Well and genndy also said maybe he is planing is as more excited so lets hope.

Just saw the new episode and I couldn't be much happier in knowing how much it stays true to the when it ended with Season 4. To anyone who hasn't seen it yet, I will not spoil it, but I will say this; It is AWESOME!!!

Shout out to Scott Willis on the art style . So vibrant and clean

i'm curious why every call is like 90's quality rather than just streaming call already.

tetrisclock Since he does guard the portal meant for Jack to use, so it's possible that Aku is unaware of the portal the Guardian protects

+Lord Hydreigon It's possible, but I'd still like to see it addressed specifically. That portal was special and was given more of a focus. Not to mention the fact that the Guardian said he couldn't be defeated by anyone except the one prophesied to defeat him. I guess Aku could beat him, given the Guardian didn't have any holy weapons, but that would be a cop out.

The mako bit was just lovely, I grew up on on your cartoons and as a asian american it was just so nice to see you guys not just make this with a orientalism starting point, which I think you guys do such justice, but you're own stories and to intertwine with just so many stories you guys did such great job making them real. I'm really loving the first episode and I can't wait to watch and own the rest.

Only negative about season 5, no classic intro. No narration by aku.. but it was so awesome i didnt care!

so the Blue Guardian from S3 is gonna be addressed, damn that's awesome, i was a bit worried they would forget about it, cause jack's first season was episodic, so it's easier to forget things like that, but they didn't Gendy sure knows what he is doing, not even worried about the show, first episode was a pretty solid way to start things off

It might be for the same reason as why Adult Swim channel + content isn't on the UK Cartoon Network, Due to Ofcom ruling that the type of content adult swim produces isn't suitable for a kids network. Which is why you see a lot of shows being split up to other UK channels like Fox or Comedy Central. It's all topsy turvy in the UK.

Genndy, you can't allow aku to have the last laugh we know that Jack will never love again like he loved Ashi. His character will not allow him to love anyone else because you made him that way. Only you could make this story end well. You have sentence Jack to a life of loneliness for the rest of his remaining life, for we all know that Jack does not give his love or loyalty easily. I don't care if it ends in a movie or one more cartoon but give Jack his happy ending.

You could tell one of the phine calls was an attempt at trolling, but conveminently the troll's signal was really bad you could hardly hear him.

Tartakovsky is for me like a father. My childhood evolved thanks to him (Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, and so on). I'm in shock because I own to this men so much. Genndy should really expanded upon the short he made for Priest and make a show out of it.
