I am a simple man. I see Genndy, I click. A living fucking legend
Wow… the part where he starts talking about how he felt like he would never be able to compete with those who were naturally talented really made me relate to him… I don’t think I’ve ever empathized with anyone this hard before… It would be a dream come true if I could meet this man during my Life, even once……. That would be Numinous.
He is the best animator in the west.

TRUER WORDS HAVE NEVER BEEN SPOKEN!!
Sym-Bionic Titan ending is one of Cartoon Network's biggest blunders.

You preach the truth brother
I really admire his works. It's very artistic and lots of sense lesson to get.
Genddy saying those early 18yr works aren't good is crazy! You can see already the talent.
"Goodbye Cartoon Network. Everything...well it didn't go wrong, but everything changed..." Yeah, what happened was it started sucking. I can never decide if I like the Grievous or Asajj fight more, but the Grievous one is certainly the iconic one.

edward18517 the Asajj has more narrative weight and that amazing Vader scene. But the Grevious fight has so many nuances and perfectly displays Genndys ability to tell a story purely through animation. If you study each frame you notice so many touches. An easy one is how grevious constantly focus’s on Mundy since he is the best Jedi there.
Masterclass!
Genndy still gets his gollies looking at his old clips. Fun stuff!
14:49 the sheer beauty of that moment seeing the sword emphasize the wickedness Samurai Jack is!!
23:58 trying to build his own studio 26:34 Sym-Bionic Titan 32:29 Growing in the industry
If anything, Mr.Tartakovsky should be given the go ahead to create a Monster Hunter animated series. Imagine that.
Sorry, but is Geendy Tartavosky the creator of Dexter's Laborotory and of Samurai Jack?

he fell in love with animation because og tom & jerry and looney toones? Those are like the worst animated cartoons I know
@MrAwsomeness360

You must have some seriously shitty tastes if you think TOM & JERRY and THE LOONEY TUNES are "the worst" despite the fact that they are universally regarded as the best in animation and many take influence from them.
