I truly do not care where anyone has their baby BUT to dispel the myth that home births are dangerous - if you don’t have a high risk pregnancy, home births result in less birth trauma and way less likely to end in an unwanted c-section than a low-risk mother giving birth at a hospital. Why? Because of the cascade of interventions. Have your baby where you want. If you feel more relaxed at the hospital that is important. But trust your instincts and make sure your doula and husband are on YOUR team.
