Thank you for making this!!!😚
I agree that comics are really accessible for many solo artists who want to tell a story. Animation requires a HUGEE team and strong skill/funding that can be a lot to handle. I like drawing comics because it's nice to create something that I consume a lot. It's a great medium to explore

I find making animations to be a lot more easier than comics
I love comic too. Dragonball. Captain America. TMNT. Batman. A lot of japanese manga. Old school manga , especially Dragonball era. They are super charming.
An hour long video from one of my favourite artists? Best Wednesday ever!!
Again, the flexibility of ur artsyle and color palette floors me. I hope that one day I could reach ur level when it comes to art!!!
Your knowledge of anatomy is outstanding, you never miss 😍😍
Love your videos they’re always filled with such great advice!!!
Love reference Wednesday! Thanks for the upload.
Love love love! This will definitely be a video I come back to, and rewatch often. I love your traditional loose warmup sketches, and you voice-overs never fail. Belated happy new year!
This is the fastest I’ve ever gotten to see your videos! Your art is amazing and it has inspired me so much!! Thank you for always posting
I've been in Larkspur and San Francisco for almost a week now. Got another 3 weeks out here. Your videos have been helping me feel less bored and isolated haha. It's like a have an art buddy near by whom I can hang with after I'm walking my feet into dust.
Smooches your art♡
Beautiful !!!
never been this early so i feel proud I adooore your videos
Wow, all these years following you and I had no idea you were Canadian! Hahaha, my best friend went to OCAD too~ I really enjoyed this video format, the questions you chose to answer were really interesting
Ohhhhh I’m sorry I missed you live , will be watching
Cool 😎 Artwork
Salve salve, gostaria de dizer que você está nos meus piores falsos despertares. Porém não se desanime, me mostre sua cultura que logo aquilo se tornará um sonho 🗿🍷

Oh my the graphic design thing. Literally, same. I realized it was just too different from illustration and trad 2D art and I switched out of the program.
Settling for "good enough" sounds like a good advice tbh since it'll get you the mileage an artist needs to improve. Thanks for sharing.

yes! I definitely have a minimum standard, but I think it's way too difficult to aim at 100% perfection to the finish line every time. Mileage is key.

@@CosmicSpectrumArt totally agree with you on that one btw nice work
nice ❤️❤️
Thnx for this vid. I've been drawing for a while now and never used references. Only drew from imagination. Later, I realised I couldn't expand my visual library without doing practice with references. I've been doing ref studies for about 2 years now and I definitely got better, but still nowhere near as good as everyone else. Do you have any tips that could help? Should I just put in more time?
which cellphone do you use to record your youtube videos?
the bendy thing you're talking about is called a gooseneck clamp
