this is unreal how helpful this is that you can speak thai and English. I often feel like a massive amount of knowledge is lost during translation from these amazing Thais. Watching on KZread for the algorithm but will watch the full thing on patron!

I am a firm advocate for the effectiveness of shadowboxing, I've done it for years, hours at a time, all going full intensity and envisioning an opponent throwing back at me every time. It has helped me increase my game at all aspects because I can perform every single aspect as much as I want, something you don't get in a heavy bag and may not get in pads or sparring. I think the key is your own imagination. The only downside is that you don't get an object to hit, but I have a wall for that lol. My shadowboxing I have in my videos is a bit old and I have increased quite a bit exponentially, however it is hard for me to record because I've found that I feel like I perform worse when I'm recording myself, resulting in a poorer workout. Idk if you have felt this Sylvie but it's annoying at least for me lol. Anyways, I really appreciate your videos Sylvie especially this one on this topic, I generally don't comment very much or really at all (at least not on this account) but I've been a fan for a couple years and appreciate you. My apologies if I can't come right when the video comes out, I'm very busy and it is 4 am here lol, but I want to let you know you're amazing and all this content you put out is very appreciated. Idk if you've read the whole message and my apologies for it being so long haha, I'll start uploading more of my workouts starting today and being more interactive on your content for the algorithm, but mainly because I want to. Lol I have so many more comments and questions but I'll wrap this up lol. Huge fan Sylvie. Thank you.

I think this is also a lot about mind, he must have very good imagination, and obviously confidence that came from experiences so he know what hes capable of, and he can translate it into shadowbox.. my brain just fcking me up, I cannot get rid of that “A you to slow, he blocked everything and catched you” like this talk, its like I am trying to beat unbeatable oponent during shadowbox, like trying to beat my own reflection in mirror, so I shadowbox just to focus on technique, but as I am not fighter yet, no win experiences, I dont have that confidence that I can translate into shadowbox, my own mind is against me 😅🤷🏻‍♂️ .. but great content again, thank you🙏🏼

I think.. That's the mind of an artist.. he's capable of achieving that level of visualization and creativity where shadow boxing is really useful .. plus his understanding of the movement involved of course.. experience obviously. I'm so glad to find this kind of videos and content!! Love your channel and how you share your interest, obsession and what you've learned. Thanks!!

On shadow clinching: Since the pandemic started I've been trying to train grappling at home, and I have found loop resistance bands very useful for clinch type stuff. For example, you can shadow box around a band hanging vertically from somewhere to simulate the head. A heavy band can give you some pretty realistic resistance for single and double collar ties.

I think if it's 6 days a week for an hour a day for a month it would be about 25,000 baht (about $745 USD)

    1) where is the tank top from that you're wearing? 2) in my second gym I trained the Kru and all students would respond to orders /suggestions with "Ka"/"kap" (for guys). I figured it was a way of saying "okay" or "got it" and now it's what I say all the time in response to my new coach/kru, but sometimes they give me this strange look like why am I saying this weird response. What is the appropriate word to say after your coach/kru explains something or give you direction/suggestions?

He seemed to throw punches with loose fists, almost open palms. Is this consistent with throwing with power? I took him to be of the loose, relaxed shadowboxing approach. Is it possible to clarify his approach to the fists?
