Having a baby showed me the pure kindness of humanity. The number of times people adults and kids alike expressed such kindness. Kind words and thoughts when I was pregnant and with my newborn son was so amazing. I'd never felt such warmth. Babies surely bring a joy like nothing else.

When it comes to always being positive I just want to scream. Feel whatever you feel. That’s what makes a person strong… it’s not falling apart. It’s the ability to allow yourself to work through the emotions.

Unsolicited tummy issue advice: I had stomach issues my whole life. Once I got on anti-anxiety/ depression medication boom within a week I was “healed” in the stomach department. It really could be your anxiety that’s making your stomach hurting.

Same!! I was told I had IBS. Dealt with it for years. The only thing that fixed it was anti anxiety meds. It just went away.

​@personincognito3989 , If it's Chrones or Colitis, that's a different story. IBS is only diagnosed when nothing can be found. There is no definite cause, it's often believed to be caused by anxiety or sensitivities made worse by anxiety.

I totally agree with you on the understanding other moms! I truly did not understand enough to have the anount of empathy i have for other moms that i do now. I really believe that you dont understand until you fully go through it alone (alone meaning, your child, just you/your partner). Even if youre a babysitter, have had pets (lol @ me calling myself a pet mom before and thinking its comparable). The FULL experience, going home from the hospital thinking you shouldnt be allowed to take this baby yourself, figuring it out, knowing the struggles. Sleeplness nights, being tired for years straight. Thats why it always baffles me when some moms are so quick to judge especially over a very small glimpse.

I loved the February read!!!! Excited for you to see how it ends! I haven’t started the March one yet haha but will!

Last year I bought a Kindle Paperwhite because it feels more like reading a book than the Fire does with the glowing screen. You can turn on the backlight or turn it off on the Paperwhite. I really like to borrow books from my library that way since I don’t have a lot of free time to get to the library. I highly recommend it.

As an English professor, I have read so many books I had to read whether I enjoyed them or not that I am beyond enduring a story I don't like-- especially if I'm reading for pure enjoyment. I know what you mean about feeling like you have an assignment. I went to school for so long that I have to remind myself there will not be a quiz. LOL! I was the exact same way with real book versus the Kindle. Then I got a Kindle and realized that as a slow reader, I read so much faster on my Kindle. I totally get the screen thing, but reading on my Kindle in bed at night actually puts me to sleep better. 10/10 recommend the Kindle Paperwhite!

I loved my kindle when I had one. I love the paper white one. It broke when I moved. I love how you can changed the font that you are comfortable with.

Hello Mindy, sometimes it helps if we cry and let it out and talking to people, it does really help. Also its called healing that important, crying is one of the ways we help to let it out,one of the ways we heal. 🙂

Good morning Mindy! I have a kindle and it’s changed the reading game for me. I went from only reading a handful of books a year to reading 25+. This is my 2nd year having it. For me it works better than a traditional book because if my husband and I are laying in bed, I don’t need all the lights on to read and distributing him. I can read anywhere/anytime regardless of the setting. Highly recommend ❤

I love my Kindle Paperwhite! I also have the Kindle app on my iPad mini, and honestly, it’s so much nicer on my iPad because it’s in color and so much smoother when loading and turning pages.

I'm sending all good thoughts for little Nemo! It's so hard to wait, It's the worst. I appreciate what you said too about Kate Middleton because I just feel like she may just want privacy regardless of being in a royal family..she's still human and she deserves privacy like everyone else. Hello Mindy, I just want to say thank you for being so relatable. I also struggled with infertility. We've done two rounds of IBF but we were not successful. So me and my husband have decided we're just going to enjoy life and travel. This year is our 10-year anniversary and we're leaving the country for the first time and going to Aruba.

I brought a kindle because the books I read are so big and I travel a fair bit. I’m loving it. Because of how my brain works I’ve found listening to Audio and reading along is the best for me.

I have a Kindle and I use it mostly for traveling - especially when flying. Books get too heavy when traveling, and if you’re going to be on the beach, near the pool (honestly if you’re around water or outside) it is amazing. You can adjust the brightness depending on your surrounding and they’re waterproof. Recommend investing for that purpose. I prefer physical books, but my Kindle is my saving grace on vacation

Hiee! I always did a rotation of all the parks in my 1530 minute radius as well as libraries. Monday through Friday was done with a mom group with a mom text in the morning saying, " Where are we all meeting up?" Winter times....we would rotate to each other's homes for playdates.

I’m also doing an end of summer beach trip to Florida from Indiana because we’re boarding a Disney cruise down there ❤ but we have to go down a few days early to enjoy the sand and sun!

I was like you, prefer books over kindle…until I got my kindle last November 😂 I love it, and unlike my phone and iPad, it doesn’t give me migraines reading from it. No regrets buying it!

I hate that you have to feel like you need to explain yourself regarding what you are doing in a clip with your child. These individuals, in my opinion, don't care to get to know you all more through your output on here. I was a preschool teacher for over a decade and I've seen a lot. You both are genuinely in tune to be the natural parents you are, it's beautiful to see such love you have for your son and that simply drives how you parent. Free thinker* love it. I have always had super super sensitive skin. I use brand called vanicream. They have lotions soaps sunscreens etc. works for me! No scents . Cleaner option.

One thing I really love about kindle and audible is they’ll remember where you left off. So I can listen to an audiobook while folding laundry and if I pull it up on kindle it will remember where I left off on audible and takes me to that page so I don’t have to figure out where I was.

I like the Libby app for audio books bc it’s free if you have a library card

I have a Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition and love it. It’s my 4th kindle over the years and I love the convenience of so many books on one device. I carry it everywhere in case I get 5mins to read and it makes reading in bed so easy as I usually read hardback books which are just awkward to hold when laying down. Still adore physical books though and will read those too. All in all…. Love my kindle x

You know what, it might be from getting older but also pregnancy changes your body so much! I’ve had two babies now and I swear this is *not* the same body that had me up partying till 3 am when I was 21 😅

I prefer the Kindle paperwhite, it is not like a screen at all. They make it look like paper if that really makes sense, you can read in the bright sun and not have ANY glare. It is all in one for all the books you read. I truly love it. Also have you heard of the ACOTAR series?? If you likes The Fourth Wing then you would love it

I thought I was completely a physical book girl until i tried an e-reader. it's so nice to borrow books right from the library and have them return themselves and the light is a game changer for reading in bed

I love my Kindle. Like you i like the feel of the paper book also. With a toddler also, i have things to do during the day and i read when my toddler goes to bed. I like it because i can read when he is in the bed with us and it isnt too bright.

Hi Mindy, just want to raise a little awareness. Just saw a story about a 7 year old that passed away, her and her brother were digging in the sand and they got buried. It happened so quick.

Where did the time go? Liam is growing up so fast. I toilet trained mine at 20 months and its like the end of the little babyhood happy sad time lol. Fingers crossed for baby Nemo!

I love my kindle I have the kindle white as its brighter can read in a dark room and books are cheaper and can get audio version for some books cheaper so I pay 7.99 British pounds a month its like a library can rent 10 at a time swope as many as you can read and if has a audio version to the book I can but the audio for 3.99 instead of 20.00 and I have the kindle app on my phone so when I'm out and not got my kindle I can still read if I'm out or my kindle dies I would also get a sensitivity test online you can see what food to avoid can do by mouth swob or hair sample ❤

I flew to Florida with my 2 kids from Indiana we are boarding a ship today for 6 days at noon ♥️it sure is a big temperature change 😂I love it I am praying for you and Larry for little Nemo 🙏🙌

Going to Nickelodean Resort in Punta Cana in May with my husband and 4 year old 😊

I am on the fence about my kindle. I just recently started reading on it, I just used it to scroll previously. It's definitely not the same as having a real book in your hands. Plus I find that even with the sleep shade setting on I still have a hard time falling sleeping at night after reading with it, when usually reading makes me sleepy. The perks are tho that you can read in bed without a light on without bugging my husband and I don't have a ton of books I don't plan on re-reading to try to get rid of.
