So we are not jealous or miserable with our lives. I’m young and in a relationship with a man who’s only 4 years older than me. Same generation, planning on having a BABY, etc. But good luck having children with a man close to 60. He’s near retirement, the age gap is just to big. Yes...we can echo this...age gap and interracial. My wife too has missed out on in -law relationship...but..my sisters make up for that...LOL. (Love my in laws btw.) So we have an idea to move up north closer to retirement to closer to in laws. I do hope and pray you both get to have children.....we have two of our own with my step daughter and a much older child from previous marriage. What I noticed in most of those age gap relationships on KZread is that the older dude usually gives me that creep vibes and the younger person seems kinda lost and manipulated, but what positively surprised me with the two of you is that you don’t have any of that. Marlene Cronkite Oof that’s rude but that’s also been my normal. I grew up with people calling my dad my grandpa ( he was in his late 50’s when I was born, my mum was in her 30’s). Some times I’d even get “great grandpa”. The looks of horror that came over people when I’d call my dad, dad were so strange to me. I still don’t understand why there’s such a taboo on age gap relationships. I’ve loved having an older dad- he’s a treasure trove of information and hearing about his life before mum & I has always been super cool to me. I wouldn’t trade my dad for a younger father for anything in the world. I hope your daughter grows up knowing how life enriching having an older dad can be.

Good day to you all, all the way from South Africa. I am also a former law enforcement officer however still in the law business just chasing and catching car thieves and armed robbers for a living. I am 51 and my princess is 20. We have been together for a year and a half now and things are starting to settle in now. Jip from two different eras is lots of fun and sometimes challenging especially to me being from a very disciplined era and my princess from a laid back era. We work together which in itself has its own challenges. She is in charge of the support department. Watching you guys have helped a lot listening to some of the things you face and how you deal with it. I love it when they call her my daughter because then I just do something so unexpected that a dad wont do like pinch her but or give her a huge kiss and tell them ...... its my wife .... and wink at them and smile. Knowing that the time we will have together is much shorter than normal relationships we decided to start our own family as soon as God allows and He has blessed us. Next year March our first one will be arriving. I feel so blessed that she came my way and just lit up my whole life. We love to watch you guys and we pray that yo will be blessed with your own little one soon. Remember that practice makes prefect.

I too was in a relationship with a guy who was 44 and I was 22 or 23 and everytime we went out I did kinda notice people staring and we're also from South FL. Him and I are no longer together. We dated for about 3 years and i ended up moving here to Orlando FL and he stayed in South FL. We both have remained good friends over the years and I just turned 28 in July. A lot of similarities between my mom and dad. My mom never got to know my Dad’s side of the family. And by the time I was born my dad was already in his early 60s. I was the youngest. People think age gap relationships don’t work. But my mom and dad were the perfect example of proving that wrong. They were together for 50 years. Here’s to you and Larry being together and happy for just as long. ❤️

My husband and I get the same look bc I have cp and sometimes have to get a rider bc my legs get to be weak. We have two beautiful kids and some girls say you can do better than her. He always says she is my wife and we love each other. I dont need a girl I have a women.

And He’s a young soul, looks lije 28, behaves like that as well. I couldn’t do 30years age gap but if she can do it that’s totally ok.
