Thanks for the review. I was considering buying this product because of it's size and price, but I have carpeted floors, kids who spill a lot of cereal, and cats. So now I might just save up for a different one. Are there any smallish/affordable ones that work well on carpet?

Not really. Anything that's this size / price isn't going to work well on carpet. Roomba 675 is the least expensive that still works pretty well on carpets. See our review here - moderncastle.com/vacuum-cleaner-reviews/roomba-675-review/

How do you know when it’s fully charged? Just got one from a garage sale and there was no manual. After watching this video I am happy that I got it so we’ll see how it does once it’s fully charged.

mine wont seem to take a charge.. is there a sequence of lighting i need to get it to charge?

No special sequence. After you plug in a light will illuminate on top of the unit. I believe the Pyle has an on / off switch, make sure that's switched on. Beyond that, you could take off the battery plate and try to unplug and re-plug it in. Sometimes it can get bumped out. If that doesn't work, battery is probably dead. You may need to return.

Mine has been charged for 4 hours, the blue light says it's done charging but it won't go on. ????

Battery is likely dead.

i GOT MY VACUUM FOR CHRISTMAS I THINK WORKS PRETTY WELL BUT SOME THING HAPPENED TO IT WHEN IT charges or doesn't as the case may be i text the company since it is only a month old i got an answer back saying they new what wrong and for $5.00 they would tell me what to do. i\I don't know about you but i think they shouldn't charge you when the machine is only one month old

Wow, that is very strange indeed. I believe Pyle is a Chinese company...I wonder if that's more the norm in that region of the world? I'm sorry to hear about your terrible experience with their customer support.

I'd suggest reaching out to the manufacturer for support. I'm not sure what those errors codes (if that's what it is is) indicate.

No. It's really only effective on hard surfaces and some low pile carpets.

They should have error codes on their website to figure out what the problem is. That's not one I'm familiar with.
