I will not be biased each plants has their own function so 1. I will pick mega gatling pea since the recharge time faster like if you use pea pod, you need to put it one by one so it is slow. also the problem with pea pod is during his plant food, his giant pea can be wasted to a imp which is annoying but Gatling pea have a chance to got plant food itself and shoot countless peas. however, if there is a jester, it will be best to use peapod since jester can't reflect his big peas. 2. Lighting Reed or electric peashooter lightning reed can attack with a good atk speed while electric peashooter doesn't have a good atk speed but its bullet has a good atk speed like a walking lightning reed. fighting the shovel guy is best to use electric since it's bullet can pass through zombies while lightning reed doesn't and need a zombie to damage the shovel guy. also electric pea is a good option since it can attack multiple zombies. However, if a lightning reed is in the third/middle lane and there is a zombie in the 3rd or 4th lane, it will attack unlike electric pea shooter. 3. Headbutter lettuce or pokra although there are a lot of people show how powerful pokra is, I will pick headbutter since it can stun enemies. like if there is an OP zombie, Pokra only slow them and can be eaten while Head butter stun them which is useful. their plant food is great but head butter is better since it can stun all the zombies in the lawn 4. Boom balloon flower or banana launcher Boom balloon flower, definitely, since banana launcher have a chance to miss and you need to wait for it to reload which is long while boom flower does reload but not that long. 5. Homing thistle or dartichoke I ever used them and they're normal to me, they are like homing thistle: constantly shooting medium damage dartichoke: shoot a weak damage but have a chance to shoot strong bullet so I think I will pick Dartichoke

you shouldn't take threepeater because he helps other plants you should just take pea vine

The problem why could be because of how pvz2 in general is. It rapidly loses players and all of the good plants are premium and/or cost money

son geniales algunas plantas las que más me gustaron fue la plantasaurio qué además de devorar zombis también puede defender lanzando escupitajos además que también es como una nuez tiene bastante vida otra es la que lanza esporas como una catapulta y no sabía que también podía crear más de ellas con sus esporas otra qué me gustó fue la que hacía soles sobre todo crear zombies qué pueden infectar otros zombies y crear más y farmear soles infinitamente te olvidaste poner las plantas que pueden hipnotizar
