Yeah, the nice thing about the plants in the older games is they all are different, but they are all still useful, cabbagepults are similar to peashooters, but they can be launched in the air which is good for the roof level, but they can’t be lit on fire like them, so they are both separately useful in their own ways PvZ 2 defeats that purpose by having some be “this plant, but stronger” which ruins the strategy and feel of the older games.

The new plant animations just become lazier each time. Pea shooter is expressive, he shuffles back and forth, the way hes handle makes him look 3d. The new ones are simply squash and stretch.
