Isn't pumpkin technically a vine? 1: it's always included with the vine families 2:pumpkin would most likely be the vine for defensive plants, considering that most plant families have at least one vine. 3: I know it doesn't have the vine name, but it does have virtually the same attributes as an vine plant. In fact, I think pumpkin was the plant to inspire vine plants to come.

I dont know if anyone has remembered, but lily pad functionally counts as the vine for the Contain-Mint family. it can be placed on top of other plants (but only on wet sand and water tiles, both exclusive to big wave beach) and will trigger its plant food (spawn 4 lily pads in a + pattern and heals lily pads if they were already there) when the plant on it has its plant food ability triggered.

Yeah but according to the rules lily pad doesn’t have vine in it making it banned but if this rule weren’t in place it would also apply to pumpkin

​@@duckfishron6486 it's the original vine plant, it's just that the rules of this challenge are not the same as the actual classification. Lily Pad and Gardening Pot are fringe cases since they don't wrap around a plant, they just act as ground.

I’m going to assume that yes, it is possible just incredibly hard

i'm pretty sure bwb day 28 might be possible if blastberry vine was used. if i recall, the plant can deal with snorkel zombies as they're lobbing plants. lobbing plants can hit them.

Yeah since Lobbing Plants can hit any zombie over and obstacle and as it’s not a straight shooter, it can easy deal with Snorkel and also occasionally hit other zombies

Tip for Sylvia: Next time in BWB, use blastberry vine. They can kill snorkel zombies with their passive.

Try beating the game with only using 14 plants Now scence there are 14 families, you get 1 plant of your choice for each family Here is my recommended loadout Fila mint plant- Electric Peashooter Pepper mint plant- Meteor Flower Winter mint plant- Chilly Pepper Enlighten mint plant- Sun shroom Bombard mint plant- Explode o' Vine Reinforce mint plant- Holly Barrier Enchant mint plant- Imitator Enforce mint plant- Rhubarbarian Ail mint plant- Nightcap Conceal mint plant- Shadow shroom Appease mint plant- Bowling Bulb Arma mint plant- Stickybomb rice Spear mint plant- Pokra Contain mint plant- Lily pad That's just a recommendation, but you can change it if you want. Rules: 1. No leveling up plants 2. No power ups. 3. For Dark Ages 14 you can use Sun bean 4. You can plant food for ability and recharging plants I would like to see this challenge. This is a pretty cool vid! I think the vines are some of the more interesting plants in PvZ 2. I honestly thought this would be way harder but aside from a couple rocky levels, it seems like a really fun challenge!

Can you beat Pvz 2 by only using zombies? (Hypno shoom, caulipower, enchant mint, solar sage, sun bean, and the plant that turns zombies into ice shields.) .

You do realize that Grave Buster is technically a vine since his body is literally made of vines and he wraps himself on the graves.

Fact: did you know that pea vine boosts bowling bulb? It actually does because bowling bulb is in the appease-mint family

Pumpkim is technically also an vine, since you can put another plant (except other vines) so you should used it on this challenge

You’d think blastberry vine would solve that tricky big wave beach world…

So, I’ll give an honest answer for this because I frankly doubt that any of my family is gonna notice it: I used to go by XavierYSI, and it was actually my real name. Now with that being said, I also came to a realization about myself a few months ago, that I was trans. So, I decided to basically completely redo any intro I made and stuff along those lines to fit the name that I go by now. But because it’s sometimes too painful for me to even look at the times I called myself my old name, I privated any intro where I did so, which is why there’s no smooth transition anywhere within my videos. Most people still don’t know about that trans part, so it feels weird for me to explain it on YT. I promise you, if you ever caught me in Floral Federation, it would be MUCH more obvious. Well, I hope that clears things up for you

It’s likely just getting the vines are going to be difficult itself

I would have thought blastberry vine world be good I mean it does an area-of-effect attack that does decent damage. Also I think it can hit snorkels because it's a lobing plant

Pumpkin fits the description of what you said about the vines, it is around the plant and buffs them, specifically it buffs their defence

As someone whi stopped playing this game in 2018, i had no clue these plants existed

I wonder if for the level to not lose plants if you can using the trowel counts as losing the plant.

in some cases generous in some makes it not a challenge for example 1 the locked and half loaded lvls should still be only vines(not a challenge example) 2 u should be able to lvl up plants but only vines as it is the actual mechanic of this game same for zen garden (generous example)

Some of them are quite powerful (some even very powerful) and pretty versatile, so id guess it probably is.

Soon a aqua based vine released maybe its possible with it you can place it on water and is an attacking plant

Literally only Shine-Vine, Gloom-Vine and Pea-Vine buff their respective family. No other vine. Plus Pumpkin was added with the other vines. Specifically the second vine added

1. Woman 2. pea vine shoots basically like a pea shooter with a bit better damage, but even two times damage only makes it a 1 pierce repeater in terms of damage, which is technically worse than repeater. Now, idk the actual stats of the plant, but a piercing vine, a vine that buffs nearby vines into more damage, and explosions are better cost wise. I didn't include the sun vine because that's a no brainer.

Um, I'm not familiar with the vines... but wouldn't blastberry be able to deal with snorkel zombies? Or, does that not lob projectiles?

Idk you know this or not but blastberry vine can hit snorkel zombie while he in the water

Okay I get the thing with blastberry since it’s dps literally required the entire row to be full to maximize and there isn’t really a tank for it to be effective But what about pea vine? Isn’t that just an upgraded peashooter?

Given that the 50 sun meta means you can skip straight to Repeater at the start of a level, Peashooter simply isn't a good plant. Also note that the ability of Pea Vine is that any Pea plant placed inside it get buffed, so this challenge doesn't get to use half of the plant.

Pea vine is actually just incredibly overpowered on its own one of the highest dps plants in the game

It's possible to beat a few levels using only wall plants, so it may be possible to do it with instas.

bro only need one vine and shine vine to win every level dont use them when encounter high level zombies , when your vines are level below 3. you must choose others high level plant or which plants can transfrom zombies , high damage plants. Any vine is good but you also use right and correct.
