Jerry Schatzberg's superbly downbeat study of the crack-up of a fashion model, played to perfection (as both young up-and-comer and old has-been) by Faye Dunaway. Here Dunaway wanders through Central Park with her photographer friend (Barry Primus). The film has never been released on VHS or DVD, which is a shame.

You said it right, it must have been her 'to die for' sculptured cheekbones.

Up for sale on eBay Vogue May 1968 issue with Faye Dunaway on the front cover. My God, she looks amazing on that. (6 days to go on the auction.)

The Beauty of Mental Illness...Oui. Elegantly composed pictorial chronicling the narcissistic downward spiral and ultimate disintegration of a self-absorbed fashion victim with a destructive, all-consuming Father complex. Languishing in a postcard perfect beach-house, Dunaway, in a clearly defined, non-sympathetic role, is simply stunning, mesmerizing, as she painfully relates her story to an old photographer friend. This sensational Schatzberg rarity would be much better known had it been cast with a stronger male lead presence to offset Faye's electric resonance...Oh la' la'...
