She is wonderful and she LOVES you and I know you have been so important to her, in the past yet, while your parents have been gone, you have totally been an amazing support and love for her that if you were not there for her I believe, she would not have gotten through this time without some extremely hard challenges that would have completely changed who she was. I know your parents must truly be so grateful to you. What is even better than that, you would have taken on this extra love of Linda, just because, you are an amazing loving person.

Your house looks amazing! I too am struggling this year with Christmas. I’m having major surgery on the 15th of December. Our only grandchild, Lennie (a girl) will be 23 months old on the the 17 of December and it will really be fun to celebrate this year with her. I will have been out of the hospital approximately 3 days. If I am strong enough, or my husband and son-in-law can carry me up the first flight of stairs in their home, I can watch her open her presents and hopefully I won’t be in too much pain to stay for dinner as well. Normally I so look forward to the Christmas Season, yet this year facing yet again another surgery is just hitting me hard. I’m going to keep a positive attitude or try to. I wasn’t going to put a tree up for the first time in 37 years of marriage but, we decided to put one up to help with my mood and get myself in a happier place, rather than being so stressed by this surgery. Plus, it’s about Lennie’s little eyes when she experiences Christmas and our family traditions prior to Christmas. My kid’s will all be at my daughter’s this year and we will have our own family their, a small but wonderful Christmas. I need to look at how grateful I am for my kids, my husband and my beautiful grandchild. Christmas is not about me, I have to remind myself of this, even when I’m scared and unsure of what may happen. Life is still beautiful and God has blessed me with my husband of 37 years, my daughter, my son-in-law, my son and as I’ve mentioned numerous times, little Lennie. How grateful am I for God’s wonderful life.

I just love your house, and view!! We have the exact same Christmas tree with the white flocking. Although we need a taller one for next year! Every year we go somewhere around the US, and someday hopefully another country, we buy an ornament. So most years we have 2-3 new ornaments just from our trips as a family. I've also started making, second year to do it, a personalized metal ornament from Shutterfly to show pictures of what weve done throughout the year. So needless to say, our ornaments have outgrown our tree!! Also, I LOVE the way you always include Aunt Linda!! The love you all have for each other is just special ❤

That scenery in the window!!! The boys are starting to look older! : ( growing up wayyyy to fast. Aunt Linda melts my heart. I loved the picture of her in the laundry room next to you. I went to a furniture store and saw a BRIGHT RED rug on display during the holidays (living room style) I loved it so much that I bought one. It just makes everything pop! I roll it up and put it away with all the other decorations. i Its 9X12 and it just makes the room POP.
