Purple hull peas are delicious! Gosh, I don't even need meat with these peas and cornbread or biscuits.

When you said that about the pickle emoji, I was astounded. Then my teenage grandkids informed me that the pickle, eggplant, peach, and water drops are things Nana should never use as an emoji. I couldn't believe it. I don't use snap chat, Twitter or anything, and now that just reiterated why that's a good thing!

My niece made some fig strawberry jam and it was so good. I tried to grow a fig tree but it just didn’t make it in this southern heat. I hope to grow some pink eye peas this fall or next spring.

The world okay It's certain Governor's in certain states censoring words example "Don't Say Gay Law" that was a law passed in Florida ie ppl see pickle and make something out of it

Oh Amy 😮 Of all the people and all the things for Facebook to censor, to choose a dang pickle recipe video is completely absurd 🙄 I am very near giving up on Facebook myself because of the constant unsolicited suggestions for me they put in my feed. Me and my daddy broke and froze bunch of green beans one year before he got real sick I don't like green beans that have been frozen but he enjoyed them and I am so glad we did as long as I keep my memory I will never forget that my daddy was a good cook and he taught us kids so much because mama worked nights and we were all ways with him I miss both of them so much

You have so much energy lady. I love watching how you process things. I too have never heard of purple hull peas. They look mighty good, but they don't sell them here in Maryland. Not even in a can.

I love purple hulls, they are my favorite. My mom always froze our peas, but I canned the. I love mid summer and the vegetable plates. We liked a pan of peas and streak of lean, lots of snapes. Cream corn, Fried okra, big slice of tomato and onion, better give me a good hot pepper too.❤❤❤

Hey Amy you are a worker. You need to slow down. I use to go wide open until I started having health problems. Had to slow down a little. I am 74 but I still bake and cook a lot. We call them crater peas and purple peas. All of ours garden stuff dried up . I froze some peas last year and other stuff. I made some cream corn with fresh corn and cornbread today and I like fried potatoes with mine. I also made some fried squash liked you made graded up. Love it. ❤❤❤❤
