Just listening to the family and friend’s banter in these vlogs while they’re actually getting work done, genuinely having fun, is what makes us keep coming back to this channel! Thank you.
For an exhaust video I sure learned a lot about steering. 😅
Ben is such a good sport, he takes the jokes on the chin and laughs about it. What a great guy
25 years ago we had a fun jeep club in San Angelo, Texas, and a bunch of us would hang out at a jeep shop… The proprietor would holler at us and tell us to go home because it wasn’t adult daycare… I think he loves us all.
The family atmosphere is part of what makes this channel one of the best on KZread. This is what keeps the channel growing so don't sweat the interruptions. Awesome video.
Good morning everybody and thumbs UP to Fab Rats!! 🐀🐀🐀

Good morning? Good afternoon here!😂
The new audio is amazing, thanks Michelle. Ben will be thrilled to put that jeep through the paces. Who knew Hunter would wind up being an apprentice to Paul and Ben. Great video guy's.
Paul, Ben, Michelle, Grandma, Hunter, and the boys, love watching you and your family and friends in all the activities and fabrication you do. Your love for each other and the community around you is great. Keep up the good work and supporting your family and friends. Miss seeing your daughter Paul and Ben's family. Blessings to you all

very well and quite beautifully spoken, melinda ivey. and thank you. every one involved is the star of the show. each one’s contribution counts. significantly. but ben tho. what a treat when he’s around. dude is way too funny. his facials alone speak volumes, and crack me up every time. ben, you am da bomb. no brag. just fact. yuge thank you to every one. those on a n d off camera. hands down, my absolute favorite bunch on YT.
That was awesome of you guys to gift Ben that Jeep. Ben is an awesome dude and deserves it. Hunter deserves a bad ass ride, too. That Silverado is going to break in no time. Lol

INSTINCTIVE !! 😂 !! but his in-the-moment instincts _FORGOT_ about the Camera 🤣 . " Got - 'em " , Michelle 👍
It was so nice to see Ben and his mom working together on the Jeep
I have to admit I really enjoy the fact that Hunter is really starting to mesh well with Paul and Ben the shop banter is getting better by the episode! Ben's Jeep is coming along great! Can't wait to see it do some wheeling!
Lots of work getting done on Ben's Jeep! Hunter is coming into his own on fabrication and learning skills! Love how these guys work together to achieve a common goal. Love Grandma Lolly and Michelle being there and bringing in the food!
The shop has become the family hangout lol
I shed a tear for the remains of old Jeep , may she rest in piece , and supply pieces for a long time .
Paul & Ben make the best shop partners you guy's make amazing rigs together I'm glad your children & Hunter have ya'll to learn from, Ben's Jeep will be trail worthy for KOH well done Fab Rat's, great video thank's for sharing God bless ❤😉👍
Anxiously waiting the Hammer videos, where's Papa Dar been? Hopefully well! Ben's jeep is coming along nicely and i have no doubt he'll be at the Hammers! Til next time take care and stay safe...

I appreciate the short simple education of setting up the front end. Paul made it easy to understand and remember.
You guys are hilarious lol. Great to see Bens jeep come together! Love how you show and explain so many parts of the build process. god bless n keep going!
Nice job, Paul, you really rock that "murse"!
Y'all are absolutely killing it!. I just love the back and forth banter. Makes me think of that ol'boy.... Randall!!!! How the heck is he doing? Definitely need to have him make an appearance so he can show y'all how it's really done 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Ben is simply awesome. The knowledge he has amazing AND he's humble.
Loved your shop cool down comment! I think you should talk about that more. My dad burned down his shop/office because he was welding one evening late, quit, went home and got a call an hour later the building was on fire. Lost everything inside.
I love Hunter's unearned confidence :)
🤣The "Boss check" glance from Hunter when he hammered that metal to the floor made my whole morning. 👊🏻🤣🇺🇸 Fab Rats is my favorite channel by light years. You guys keep havin fun and keep makin videos.
Ben - you may never have thought you'd be a "tv personality" for a living but you are made for it. All you guys are. You have a synergy that's hard to fake.
It would be sweet if you guys made an offroad roll-back. I'm anxiously awaiting the tow truck olympics. I think you guys got it.

With all the emphasis in rock crawling needing weight down low, don’t think a rollback, with a heavy vehicle on the bed, would be a good thing. 😉
@seanworkman431
Жыл бұрын
Apparently someone has rights over the word 'olympic' so we aren't allowed to say that any more, it's the 'Off Road Wrecker Games'. What if they all got together and built a rollback that can go rockcrawling, that would be a one of a kind.
@rythemzlatin
Жыл бұрын
@@arlisspropertyservicesllc5943 Not sure about Sand Hollow , but most trails' Obstacles have BYPASS routes . An offroad rollback built specifically to navigate the recreational area via the bypass routes _could_ be a possibility. The broken vehicle would just have to be recovered-out of the Obstacle & brought to the bypass trail. It would take local investigation of the area to determine whether or not it would be a cost effective endeavor. Based on watching MATT & RORY , trailers seem to be pretty capable for _their_ particular needs. I'm sure that _somewhere_ in the States there's a place for one , though.
@timothycarey3883

@@rythemzlatin anything more than a couple degrees off camber with a rollback would flop on its side, look at Matts trailer it looks sketchy with a razor on it, tow truck is much more versatile.

I’ve been off-road in a rollback and the center of gravity is too high with a vehicle on the bed, it can get scary!
Ben and Hunter are a great addition to the fab rats channel, I look forward to watching your videos every day. Salt of the earth people and Michelle too. And Grandma 😂 You guys are awesome, Keep up the great content.
It's always the little things like steering, and exhaust, that slow down production. Have a great week and God bless amen.
Keep her coming back to the shop!! It’s a family affair ! U guys rock !
glad u have a brother like ben , I love my sister she knows a little about mechanics
You don't know awesome it is to hear you say we gonna get this this and this done today and at the end of the day not one thang is done .... I feel right at home here 🥰
I really loved and laughed out loud at the triangular bracket part of the video, especially once Hunter came in play. Love your sense of humor and the stuff that's pretty much becoming running gags like Bens triangles and Pauls vs Hunters welding.
Grandma Lolly with the "I got my eyes on you" motion.... cracked me up!
Love seeing Ben's Jeep come together. He has a great attitude/demeanor and I enjoy how all of you work together. You can always tell how much men working together by how much they heckle each other. Hunter has definitely made his way in.
Are we gonna lose a cameraman to be Ben’s assistant? He’s a good kid Paul teach him everything he’ll take❤️🔥
Great video! Family in the shop is what it's all about! Just adds to the greatness of this channel!
Ben's jeep is getting closer each passing day.
Amazing Job as usual Paul , Ben, n Hunter the Front end looks amazing , I am jealous!!lol.
Nice job Paul and Ben
The track bar and draglink should be parallel with each other to prevent bump steer.

I was looking at that and thinking the same thing.
Ben's new Jeep is really coming along. You guys have a great work ethic and you are sharing that with the boys. Great work!
I love how the first task was the exhaust and as the video finishes Paul says well the first thing we'll do when we come back is the exhaust. Lol. Don't you just love how that works. For the people that don't work on cars, this is actually a very common accurance. Still another great video in the books. Looking forward to seeing how everything goes and hopefully no breakdowns. Good luck with everything
Great job guys....I always enjoy watching you guys rebuild stuff you've already built....to make it all function together as one....thanks for sharing this with us.....oh yeah....thanks for showing up Michelle !!.... I was going through Michelle withdrawals.....lol....ha ha Paul!!
Gonna be a great rig!
Ben an paul have been doin this for ages an i glad too watch an genis's at there make do with what they have , priceless lv the banter....😅
Lol Frikin shenanigans! And YES more Michelle in the shop n people talking about random stuff in the back ground!
Another "exhausting" week by the looks of it guys! LOL Can't wait for the next few videos!
Great Job Paul and Ben, Love watching your guys work together.
It's the banter between you all that makes it. This is one of the most enjoyable videos you've made in my opinion.
Famous last words, the next time you see the Jeep we are going to be putting exhaust on this thing! You are forgiven because you accomplished a lot of other things. It was nice to see grandma in the shop giving Hunter some love. Stay safe healthy and happy 👍
Infamous triangle.. Man, I love Ben :D
Great team effort. Hunter is starting to pick things up.
Fab Rats Rulz. I watching all the way out here in the little tiny island of Guam.
Love it when Michelle come to the shop.... Grandma too...!
Some Serious FABricating going on there on Ben's jeep!
Good to see Hunter learning the Fabrat ways!
Never ever forget family Brothers , Sisters ! Great Video.......Sure hope Ben is getting paid !!!!! LOL
Michelle is there and the subscriptions are going through the roof. The girls on your show are welcome and put smiles right where they need to be. You adding them to your show shows very basic / fundamental wisdom.
Always more Michelle. That's a lot of project going on in a short amount of time. When I was racing there were a lot of 3 in the morning nights. Miss the wheel but not the lack of sleep!
Excellent editing Michelle.I love the music when Paul was doing the jig while working on the lathe.I had to chuckle. 😅Great video ya all,I appreciate it. 🙂
PAUL,,,,,,. YOUR ENERGY LEVEL TIERS ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The three of you have a great dynamic.
Hunter’s America shirt with the square body and motorcycle, is awesome!!
If you pull those three tape measures out 60" and compare them side by side I bet you'll find a surprise 🙂 Its not unusual for them to be different by a 1/4" or more.

I am not even in the same state as this crew when it comes to fabrication, so I am always learning from them. But I learned years ago that when working with a crew that only one person using the same measuring tool should do all the measurements.
Change just one little thing.. BOOM... Now you got a whole mess of stuff to change!! LOL!! Great video... love every minute!!
Paul, every day you should drop to your knees and thank God for the terrific family and friends you have ; every single one. Particularly Michelle ! What a Great Gal ! You're smart enough I'm sure you realize this. You and Ben have exceptional spatial visualization skills which makes you great fabricators .
Good morning fab rats! Thank you for another banger video!!!!
Thanks everybody for another very good video. To the armchair mechanics, these guys didn't just start one day and say okay we're going to rebuild this front suspension! we've never done it before and it's all going to work out okay. The reality is that they started when they were young making one modification and then making another and making another until they had the confidence to do what they do today. So if you've just started in this world don't expect to know-it-all, you just can't because education like experience has to be built on. Thanks for the videos as always it's a pleasure to watch. Best regards, Bob from Virginia USA
Another fine job by Mr Wilbur 👏 in tight quarters
It's always nice when anyone shows up at shop, and the gifts are real sweet. Nice!
I'm glad I'm not the only one that opens up a "can of worm" when I do stuff! LOL
Hunter is doing an amusing job, might make a 2nd rate shop hand out of him yet, Michelle must really like noisy places if it is always noisy where she is. This Hammer kingdom thing looks like a fun day out coming up.
Thank you very much for explaining the "NEUTRAL POSITION." I was always a little confused as I had never modded that part of a truck yet. Cheers!
well i love when there around you and ben make a great team
This thing is going to be sick! Got to love a two-door; heck yeah !
Hunter another awesome job, you have the best two guy to train you!!!
Looking awesome! The fabrication skills are amazing! Can't wait to see the "finished" project! :)
"Tour-Menoring." Offspring come down, and 'Take a Tour' through Paul's workspace. (Gotta love it. At least this time of year, the Mountain Dew doesn't "evaporate" QUITE so Rapidly.)
On the drag link and pan hard topic, the reasoning behind wanting to limit axle movement left and right is that while the axle and frame are moving the steering linkage doesn't share the arch if they are not both neutral and of close to the same length. Think of it as a circle, if they were to travel in a full circle from their connecting point and one was half the length how much further the long one travels, or if they don't start at a neutral point they might actually be traveling in different directions, so you hit a bump the axle and the frame shift the length of the pan hard bar but the steering doesn't keep up so in turn it lengthens and shortens feeding your tires steering information that doesn't come from the steering wheel giving you "bump steer"
Fab Rats does it nice cuz they do it twice! Just teasing you. You guys do things I could never even dream of doing. You do things to make the end result be the best you can. That was a lot if fabrication/modification to be able to install the exhaust the way you wanted. Well worth it IMO because I think Ben deserves the best Jeep you can build for him. Can't wait to see the videos of you guys wheeling your rigs at KOH.
Greetings from the other side Thanks Paul for that " this is what happens when..." I needed a good lol Keep on smiling lovely Michael 🤙🖖
We will be at the Offroad wrecker event, and we can't wait to meet you all, You guys are awesome....
We like interuptions, its cool to see the real interactions and digs-more of it!- its fun. Also, we need to look for other shapes, just in case Ben gets good with triangles- pure gold :)
It’s so much fun watching you guys work and go with each other 😂. What an awesome channel. That Jeep is going to be one heavy duty Jeep when you guys get done. Cool video. 👍❤️
Paul I enjoy watching you and Ben teaching those young bucks a good trade. So many go to a technical school and get the big head thinking they deserve 45.00 a hour. 🤔😉🤣🤣🤣😂
Ahh...Hot Rodder's Law: "For every modification, there needs to be (at least) two additional modifications made...to make the 1st modification work." Great job crew!
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you all guys.
Happy for you Ben!! She’s a beaut!!!!!!
It was nice talking to Ben at KOH. He said he had some bumpsteer. Make the trackbar and draglink parallel by moving lower on the passenger side. Easy.......just drill another hole!.Hope this helps.
Michelle, that background music is catchy. I always get a chuckle when I hear it in your videos. Thanks
GOOD TO SEE HUNTER GETTING IN THERE AND LEARNING FROM THE PROS.
Love seeing your videos Rats. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep making. God Bless.
Need to have the drag link and panhard bar parallel to prevent bump steer . i'd live with a little diff movement left to right and remove bumpsteer if its ever seeing the highway . its looking good , pleased to see the body lift come out .
I love that you take us we with you to get stuff.
Re-engineering the whole front axle just for exhaust. She's mint now
You all do stuff that would cause me to give up. Thanks for sharing your skill and providing inspiration. I wish I had learned to weld!
The infamous 'one thing leads to another' syndrome. Welcome to my world. But you guys handled it nicely. Well done.
