I knew it was gonna be that washer as soon as you put it on and would say to leave it off if it increases the thickness bc thats definately whats binding.

Good job Caesar, I am doing this one right now too. Just waiting on ultrasonic cleaner to arrive to ensure everything is super clean before I put it all back together.

Hi Caesar i know how you feel take it off again It took me 3 1/2 hour rewires on my scooter because wires different color i check each wire see work for brake & turn signal, tail light on the top box I got it all done. Only thing left headlights bulb did came yet! I got motorcycle brake switch and hook it up works real good!!

Honda bond , oh the sealant. I need the gear oil from Honda but I’m not sure what kind.

Where did you get that oil seal that goes behind your clutch what’s it called?

You seem to know alot more than i do, i have a 2009 metropolitan i want to increase torque and lower my top speed about 5mph, should i do a ruckus final drive swap or a metropolitan II final drive? Might sound crazy wanting to decrease speed but the moped laws are getting more strict where i live next year and it struggles to keep up speed on hills anyway so its ideal for me.

I just bought a ruckus and are the met gears for the 49cc?

Yea it is and I hope it helps me. I don’t recommend this mod until you have a achieved 50 and done everything else first to get speed.

I combined kitaco 3.15 primary gears ratio with met 3.46 secondary gears ratio 5 years ago, 50 mph was too easy.

I must admit when it was binding I thought it might be that gear. If it measures the same length as the old gear, with the washer, it's good. What will be the ratio increase of the new gear?

@@SmallEngineVelocity on the two strokes I usually go for a 20% increase. But this is a high torque four stroke. If it will pull it, could be some good numbers
