RUCKUS MET GEARS ARE INSTALLED
The long-awaited day has arrived. Rather than taking my swingarm apart and installing it after I removed it, I preinstalled it on a spare swingarm. After I installed it I had to remove my motor to install it. This was a good way to do it because If I can't get the performance I want I can just swap back to my previous setup.
This is the hard part and it's done. Now I can get to the fun tunning if a hurricane does not reach me first.
NOTE: I am not an expert but more of an enthusiast who is trying to build experience. Please feel free to ask questions in the comments or resources like 49ccScoot forums on the internet (Great Place!)

A stock Ruckus motor seems pretty fast. I can pass cars in normal traffic here by me. All I did was replace the stock air filter with a K&N. Thursday I'm having a Yoshimura Exhaust installed.
i wonder if the bigger tire in the back helps with the speed?
We really need a concrete answer on this. Thanking u in advance. Are u saying u removed the ruckus gear/swingarm n replace it with a metropolitan chf50? and why? Did it work? Coz we're thinking of replacing our metro chf50 swingarm with a ruckus one. We thought the ruckus swingarm is better. Pls reply, Thank u again.

I replaced the swing arm with another ruckus swing arm. The met swing arm is to short. I did add the gears from a Met into the gear box because the gears are longer

how do you install oil into the swing arm ?
So can I put them in my stock trans ? All I seen is a trany swap, how do I change the met gears into the stock bike?
What was your final tune? Before your Met Gears. It seems like every time I try something different, I go backwards. Haven't broken the 45 mark yet

I got 50 a few and yes every mod requires a retune. Weights and everything. Sometimes you jets and intake length. It’s a bear but I love it. What do you have now ?

@@SmallEngineVelocity I got TRS air box delete with bigger jets, Polini variator with 6oz weights custom exhaust, NCY CDI, and a new belt. The old belt sounded like it was slipping. I was going to try 5oz & 4oz commination this weekend

I knew what he ment because each Oz is 28 grams
Someone that did the Met gear conversion said that he gained 3 mph at the top end. But now the motor revs higher than with the original Ruckus gears. All this trouble to gain 3 mph and have the engine rev higher at idle than with the stock Ruckus gears isn't worth it.

I dont think the idle of your motor has much to do with Met gears. I have had some results from it. Tomorrow’s videos will explain. Stay tuned. It’s all about the weights for me at this point.

3mph is significant when talking small engines, especially if you're already at the top speed you can tune the motor to do.. plus that swap can be done in 20-30 minutes, I'd spend more time gathering and putting away my tools. Lol..

I want lower gearing in my 2009 metropolitan, as wierd as that sounds, would someone with a modded ruckus be likely to want to swap with me for as little as some pizza and cold drinks? I think i need to get on the forums or Facebook groups and ask around

@@SmallEngineVelocity moped laws are getting more strict where i live in January and my gfs metropolitan already struggles to stay abouve 30mph on hills anyway so this would hopefully limit the speed to 30 and give more torque
