Great video barnsey Through randomly finding ur channel on KZread one day you’ve actually inspired me to restore my dads 1982 Holden wb ute that’s been sitting in the shed since before I was born(21yrs ago). Thanks for the great work.

You will find that it wasn't actually lightning it was another KZreadr reviewing Auxbeam spotties. What I've got most out of the series is you can do anything if you have patience, take your time & do it one step at a time. I had zero confidence that I could sand a panel straight but you've given me the confidence to do it. I just skim & sand until it's perfect.

Enjoyed this episode Barnesy, gave a lot of good info on how i as someone who hates anything electrical that it is so easy it is to install anything on your car!! That is the best thing about your channel, you are not a panel beater or mechanic as far as i know, but you show that anyone and everyone can rebuild a car well!!

Another great video. The best part of all your vids is the down to earth DIY approach you take. I have a number of old cars and I think of your one step at a time attitude when I become overwhelmed at the large number of tasks I have in front of me. Keep up the great work 👍👍

Barnesy I like how you keep it real with your videos, not everyone are professionals and not everything goes to plan but you just keep on going. Its great for average joe out there with a project to do. Cheers keep it up.

Hey mate, looking forward to the rest if the build. I am currently doing my LX Torana my first car I have had since I was 16. These videos have helped clear up a lot of questions for a first time builder and steer me in the right direction.

HNY Barnesy, best thing about your channel is that you show how a rebuild (seemingly an insurmountable task) can be achieved by a DIYer. Spotties would look awesome on the 356 :)

G'day mate, Hope you had a good Christmas and now onto 2023. I've watched you build your Ute from the start and you've kept it real and true from the beginning. All the issues that you have had you have found a way through and done a great job mate the Ute is going to look and run amazing. As for the spotties, my daughter has a 2018 tray back Triton and her spotties got smashed on her way down from Newman for Christmas. They look and perform well and would be a good gift for her. Keep up the good work Barnsey, I can't wait to see the Ute when it's finished. Cheers Happy New Year 🇭🇲

They look awesome man - I’ve got the model land cruiser after yours ( the new shape in 84 ha! ) which will be getting her rebuild in the shed after I finish me WB. For me the engine build on your journey is what I liked best - was awesome listening to guys who know their Holden V8 s and the Dyno process to bring about a reliable poky street engine
