I was in third grade and I still remember my classmate telling me this, " Izzat har shakhs khud karwata hai". I was a little kid at that stage and she was also a kid. But I still remember this even today. May ALLAH bless her with a good and happiest life wherever she is. :)

"respect is earned, not demanded" This sentence covers the whole philosophy of relationship. A wife, who wants respect and love from husband, should give respect and love by putting himself first. On the other hand, a husband who wants respect from wife should give respect to the wife first by putting herself first. The struggle should be comes from both ends(husband and wife).

Really great and true message! I think this is our responsibility as Youth that we bring real image of Islam by practicing our Deen according to the guidance of Quran and Sahih Hadith. We need to through out these traditional myths that are followed by people as part of Islam. Make people aware about the rights of women as they actually get to know that what our Deen 'Islam' tells about women rights.
