Hullo Kasey, Sizing is that particular "glue" that makes paper watercolor paper! you can use it as you make the paper, internal sizing, you can wash the surface of the paper after it is made but before it finishes drying, Surface sizing! Regardless of what Danny used you made it look wonderful! I do hope some people go give it a try! I have some paper from India and it is very unique and a blast to use! You can try it from Blicks, Shizen is the brand and they have a lot of choices you might try the pastel papers they are very similar to Danny's handmade papers! I have used watercolor as well as color pencils too! Oh! Wonderful horses and assorted animals Kasey, you got some great doodles done in this one!

I LOVED ALL OF THESE!!! The paper just brings so much more character to each piece than a solid white piece of paper.

Im calling the first horse the "leedle leedle" horse. (From Spongebob...get it?) My fav was the last water horse creature. The design was so great. That paper looked really fun to work with and im pretty sure i would have accidently destroyed it. Such pretty paper!

I'm learning watercolor and i love illustration i took tips from your videos when trying out some new ones. I even used those crappy Crayola watercolors and was able to get something different. Layering on the colored pencil helps bring out details

so cool!!! I've been wanting to get into paper and cardboard recycling for a while. my husband likes using newspapers for shaving, but then he just gets rid of them! same with shipping boxes. this reminded me of how cool recycled/homemade paper looks!!
