My mom used to have a gsxr 750 when she was younger and my dad had a gsxr 1000 and they never crashed or messed up their bikes until a drunk driver pulled in front of my dad and he had my mom on the back of his bike and they went flying through the air and I am lucky to say that they are ok and I am here, so stay safe and watch out. You have two mounting points in the rear of the engine. I rode my gsxr 600 for a year with both front engine hanger bolts missing and the engine didn’t shift 1 millimeter

K5 and K6. Just means. 2005 - 2006 gsxr1000. Not 600 or 750. And the tails are the same on the 05-06 gsxr1000.

I spent 5k on my broken k6 gsxr 600 the whole front end had to be replaced cost me 2222 dollars at check out but I'd say if it is clean it's worth the 4k. Just make sure to look up what to look for in a bike. Look for scratches everywhere, open the gas tank and check for rust, check the chain and see if any of the spokes are damaged, see if there are any cracks in the rims, check the tires if they're good make sure there's no bubble or anything, check if the brake fluid is clear or brown. Basically just check everything before handing anyone your money and never show up with your money cash in hand for the 1st time you meet and best of luck with whatever bike you choose!!!
