My first thought was Arrietty from studio ghibli but I don't think that's a movie for her age, however the kitchen at the doll house is absolutely beautiful. I also have a son about her age and also struggle on what to show him,he isn't old enough to enjoy some of the anime I used to see and sometimes I forget some of the more tame media can be too adult for his young eyes.

It's my guilty pleasure too as there's lots of hidden sweet parental moments and relatable but appropriate jokes. I hope you guys enjoy it 😊

If it helps, my dad built me a house for my barbies when I was younger. I absolutely destroyed it, mostly by ripping off all the roof shingles. I still remember it fondly, much more fondly than the store bought ones. Even if this eventually gets destroyed, it will be lovingly destroyed

Using some small scale trim around the piece would really give it pizzazz, and a fully finished look. This is very cool!

I always thought of building something like that for my children one day after watching the film "Arrietty - Die wundersame Welt der Borger" from Studio Ghibli. The englisch title is "The secret world of Arrietty" i think. The film is perfect for inspiration if you like projects like these. PS: I'm sure your daughter would like this film.

You could have used Merida's little brothers when they turn into bears, you had wanted to keep the Merida theme idea.

I feel like I dont really know how to use it well though, free weathering is not what you want for a smooth finish.

This is incredible! "Abandoned Miniatures" recommended your channel and I can honestly say, I'm very happy he did! My son was in love with this and wants to also see more Remy rooms like your daughter does ...so do I lol. He has now also said he wishes mommy can make a Remy room in our apartment but my rental office would have my head and my security deposit 🤣 Any suggestions on how to maybe go about that without destroying a wall in a rental? I'd be eternally grateful and so would my son. 😊❤️
