I reckon you should treat it to a nice original motor. do you still have its own motor? I remember the bearings where quiet bad on it. I also have a Numatic from my birth year, it is the same age as me, and in better condition too🤣

I do still have the original Motor! Can't remember how it sounded but I remember Benchys motor sounding better so it must be pretty bad 😂
