Putin Proves The West Is A Minority I Why China, India & Most Nations Are Not Toeing The West's Line

A large number of countries have publically opposed the war in Ukraine. Some of them have even condemned Russia, but most of these countries are in what is called the ‘global north’. These countries include the United States and its European allies.
The ‘global south’ which includes countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America have either not outright condemned the war in Ukraine not have they condoned Russia’s actions. These countries have simply taken a neutral position and abstained from voting against Russia. They have not gone with the West imposed sanctions on Russia.
In this episode of Crux Decode, we will try and answer the question- Does the ‘global south’, which make the bulk of the countries, secretly support Russia?

Did you know that winning against Hitler wouldn't have been possible without Ukranians and Georgians? Did you know that Russia killed children and pregnant women also in Syria just like in Ukraine? US has made a lot of mistakes, but killing kids and bombing hospitals full of pregnant women is not what they have done to win wars, in fact they have preferred to pull out their troops rrather than using dirty tactics, they learned from Vietnam. The problem with Afghanistan that made the Taliban take over so quickly was that the local military had huge problem with poor leadership, corruption, low morale, lack of training. They were not willing to put up a fight, so it collapsed immediately US left. I don't think it was a good idea to start a war there in the first place, but blaming the failure of the army on NATO is a bit far-fetched. In Ukraine the forces are well-motivated, well-lead, good leadership, lower amounts of corruption (although probably high with some western standards), so it's a much better base where help actually leads to results.

The Russian currency is at pre-war levels.. How did that happened? So long Russia imports from countries who buys its oil and gas, they bode well. Barter system. China buys oil and gas with Yuan and Russia buys consumer products with Yuan. So no issue. What will happen is that Russia will stop importing from Europe and US......mainly luxury goods, cars etc... Non essential products. Lifestyle will fall temporarily but will cause people to starve. On the contrary, spend less on luxury means more savings and investment locally.....so at the end of the day, the working class in Russia will benefit. Putin is a genius. Why put billions in yatchs and luxury cars......reinvest in Russia.....!!! What he could not convince the oligarchs to do will now become natural choice due to the sanctions. Actually the West is helping Russia reform its business leadership. 136

Likening the situation of Ukraine to Afghanistan is comparing applies to oranges. The Afghanis were better armed and should have been able to fight the Taliban but chose not to fight. The other issue was that the sympathizers and tribal loyalties let to fall of the Afghan government and democracy. The US troop withdrawal was something that the Afghanistan government was aware of and should have prepared for: the authorization of the troop withdrawal was done by Trump and the Afghanis has plenty of time to prepare. The people of Ukraine, on the other hand, chose to fight for democratic principles in the face of an aggressor who is much more powerful militarily, The Ukrainian government has repeatedly stated that they will fight to maintain the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The West has no troops on the ground in Ukraine but instead is responding to Ukraine's request for military, humanitarian and financial support. If you want to assign blame for the war in Ukraine, blame it on Putin and his regime.

Mainly the difference is the degree of control the US has in all these countries. In Europe and UK almost all politicians and media outlets are completely dominated by the US and their banker and oligarch friends, so the propaganda and censorship is relentless. They have control of many politicians in India and other Asian and African countries too - but not enough to completely suppress the truth. People in these countries should not become complacent about their "independence", the threats are growing rather than receding.

Yes that would mean stopping all immigration but we have not been taking care of ourselves because everyone is always asking for help. The Ukrainians are the exception to that though. They have shown extraordinary courage and resilience and proven they are worthy of our help. Ukrainians have shown the kind of character that used to be our country and that is something worth preserving. They are kind, articulate, well educated and talented. It was due to western advice that Ukraine pulled its army away from the border so that Russia may not see it as an act of aggression, and it was the west who told Ukraine to not send the order for a general mobilisation so that once again Putin would not see it as a threat. The USA and Europe have been trying to appease Putin from long before Ukraine was invaded, Georgia in 2008, and Crimea in 2014, they did what they could during this crisis as well, but since things didn't work, it was time to set their foot down. Europeans and Americans knew what a war in Ukraine would mean to them, so it was definitely against their interests for that to happen. Thank you for this interview: it reduces my confusion and increases my pain. USA is a source of untold death, destruction, mayhem, unhappiness.

Not just USA. Every single country in the world fought wars and caused death and destruction, mayhem and unhappiness at one point in history or other. And mostly to their own people.

Khomeini was right, America is the Great Satan. America was defeated by rice farmers in Vietnam and goat herders in Afghanistan.

    • 22-04-06 3 :10 pm MSNBC The Hallie Jackson reports show , says US sends 100 more Switch Blade drones to Ukraine. Then adds that some Ukrainian officials came to the United States for training on how to use them prior to the invasion. Isn’t that admitting that this is a proxy war orchestrated by the US. The aim of this war is as Biden let slip out a regime change in Russia! I'm Canadian I would have voted for Biden , but Regime change ! • US offered 4 billion dollar loans to Ukraine since 2014 . It is obvious that if he cared about peace for Ukrainians he would be encouraging peace talks and not encouraging a war that could last for years!

@@justice9355 I think some countries use the ocean to test nuclear bombs already. The do it in the ocean to prevent the nuclear fallout I think. We already know the end of the world is coming, we just don't know when. Hopefully it is God not man that ends it

Kings, emperors, presidents and ordinary people are equal, leaders must understand not to pursue its own interests if it will cause a war.why pursuing interest of seeking power and glory if it is to be paid by the cost of many lives and suffering of many innocent people?people will always live without power and glory.
