He appears to know less than zero about historical Russian Imperialism and is clueless at to Putin's and Russia's many wars in the post-Soviet space and in Syria, Libya, and Wagner Group's wars in Africa. I have to agree with this assessment of US foreign policy. It's just not really a policy but to my simple mind just the continuation of the superiority complex of of the English speaking peoples which was so against my religious beliefs. I saw it and heard in Vietnam, in the invasion of Granada, in the refusal to accept other people choosing a form of government and an economic approach that was of their view of how it was best for them to pursue. It seems that "...life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness..." was written for only the American people and of those Americans that were truly American. Arrogant, and greed underpins this outlook and clearly goes against what many Americans still believe the US stands for. That false understanding is falling apart under the most inept administration in US history.

So they use that fear of the change to demonize what China does because it's different from what we do. and if it's different, it's easy to say that it's bad. The USA knows very well that we could change to a more cooperative system, but that would undermine their power. That's why they spend so much on the military, they will (try to) destroy everything that could compete with them, even if it's by force.

@John R If it was only for myself, I would agree, but I have children and grandchildren to think about. I want better for them. I also feel some duty to see it fixed because it fell apart on my watch. Some things I worked against, but more I didn't even know was happening at the time. They do this using their Unrestricted Warfare like psychological warfare, drug warfare, public opinion warfare, economic warfare, spy warfare, territorial warfare, media warfare, political warfare, ideological warfare, and legal warfare like debt trap diplomacy through manipulation, bribery, coercion, blackmail, etc. The communists use very sophisticated propaganda machines. They can disguise themselves into any form of individual or civil servant. An arsonist can disguise himself as a firefighter just like Biden pretending to defend democracy. Just like the communist Vietnam that pretended to rescue the Cambodians from Pol Pot but instead, they wanted to invade Cambodia. We cannot just bury our heads under the sand because if we are unaware of these changes , our country will become another Pol Pot-style Cambodia. The Communists will never stop to infiltrate , divide, and then destroy you from the inside, starting with the basic unit of society, the family, and then the nation, and then the country, and then the world.

@@nicnaimhin2978 dude totally left out that in order for American businesses to sell their goods in China they have to turn over intellectual rights!! Of which means- any company or inventor/investor- that would want to sell their “Self-made,invented,tested, proven invention/good or service in China they would have to forfeit their copyright title/RIGHT to the Chinese government in order for them to figure out how to make the same (item,good,service) cheaper without having to do the actual Research and DEVELOPMENT!!!

Putin thought he could win a war by doing three things . 1) Scare people by jumping up and down and yelling "NUKES ... NUKES ... NUKES !!!". 2) Confuse and muddle issues by equating Ukraine vs Russia with Republican vs Democrat. 3) Leverage Antisemitism by constantly referring to 'Zelensky the Jew', and ‘’those Nazis’, rather than the 43 million Ukrainians suffering from his actions. . It nearly worked. It nearly worked. It nearly worked. . BUT NEARLY WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. .
